North Greene’s leading scorer and all state guard went out early in the 2nd quarter when it was tied. Would have been a different outcome if he played . 8-21 on foul shots doesn’t help either.

That's funny only reason North still playing is 41-19 foul shots. Be glad you lost by 26 not 4. You really feel like you've been cheated then.

  2. Well I tried to go back read some of this but seen a lot of show girls and Cinderella. Who the Cinderella team? I'm thinking it cornersville. Greenback been very lucky with #21 #22 getting hurt but don't mean they couldn't still be playing tomorrow. I know nothing of cornersville except their qb hurt which should be a given how the playoffs have went for greenback. Any Huntington fans on here to give honest opinion how good they are and if losing qb going to cost them the game.

That was "different" wasnt it? If what I'm hearing is correct they will have a couple of "new"  players that didn't play the last time we played he is pulling out all the stops this time!

No middle school players moved up. Maybe they thinking #5 Lowe but he freshman played last game. 23 finally eligible, heard he did good but Cloudland is no Greenback. If no one gets hurt at practice think all will be healthy. Well healthy enough to play. Doubt any 1A player is fully healthy this far in season.

This TINY school is much better than you think.

No disrespect. Coalfield's record shows they are always top contender in the east every year. That's amazing for how small the school is. I just ment Marion has had two hard losses back to back and that's what they are probably  thinking. I think this is the week Marion gets it together. It might not be enough to beat Coalfield. This is one of coalfield's best teams but this is week 6 and coalfield still not played competitive team. I think that will hurt coalfield but maybe not. Going to be good game.

  5. very rarely do middle school coaches make a successful jump to being a head coach.  There is so much difference between those two levels.  The biggest difference is the level of competition between middle school and high school coaching staffs.  Not saying it cannot be done because i am sure you can go back and find middle school coaches who have been successful.  Maybe there was lots more to the decision that meets the eye, there usually is.  Well good luck!

It did keep some middle school kids from moving to coalfield. So that's one good thing.
