Can someone tell me how the district tournament works? Are all games played at the same location (if so, where) or does the higher seed host? When will it start? If you lose, are you out or is it double elimination? Thanks!

LA over York 9-4

York showed a lot of improvement in the 2nd game. They found a way to rebound and pull it together. #5 pitched a heck of a game and his defense played their hearts out. First game, well, I'm not sure what happened, but they appeared to play intimidated and their youth showed. Congrats to DC on the wins, good ball club! Would like to see the DC/MCM matchup.

District play starts tomorrow. Who ya got? Who gets the ball to get their teams win?

York gave up too many errors to win a ball game. First game out if the way and hoping they can regroup and play like they are capable tomorrow vs Oneida

Pickett got 2 transfers from YI...they will be a big help down there.

Sorry typo...  ...Derwin Wright has been named as new head football coach and Russell Tays has been named as the new boys head basketball coach.

Outlook on teams and predictions?

He wanted to retire from teaching but not from coaching football. Clay Co gave him the contact he wanted, so he took it. Local radio met up with him at a Clarkrange/Clay Co game last week where he stated he had met with the players. Not sure if that meant Clay Co players or what. Several names bring tossed around as new coach but nothing confirmed yet.

Left on his own. According to local radio, he stated he was retiring from teaching and Clay Co offered him 100 day contract to just coach football.
