WC let me tell ya. It don't matter who Oakland plays or who gets hurt playing in playoffs. Its the next man up if someone goes down for the team. That has gone on for years. No excuses for loses and try to win every game. Depth is a big part of having a great team. Stay tuned. Go Patriots!!
I hope so, Tom! I’m pulling for anyone in Middle Tennessee not named Mount Juliet.

Super 32 didn’t help Maryville because there were no more cake walks until the semis. They had to play legit teams up to the semis. Now, it’s back to normal.
-
In the playoffs, Maryville played Blackman before Oakland last season. Oakland played all East Tennessee 6A teams before Maryville. It’s not the same. Oakland is about to play Blackman-Riverdale/Cookeville-Maryville. That’s a gauntlet. Maryville will play a MUCH easier schedule before the semis. That’s my point.

So should your HC for losing to Perry every year
Yeah..... we suck but there’s a difference. I’m a realist unlike MJgoldenbear who tried to convince us that they were the 85 Bears. Guess not.

I guess last year doesn't count then, good to know. Using your logic Maryville shouldnt win either bc their competition is a joke to you. Just because Maryville makes it look easy doesn't mean it was
I’ll add that your reading comprehension is a joke. Last time I checked, Maryville played both Knox Catholic and Oakland in the regular season. What powers did MJ play to get ready for the playoffs? I’ll wait.

BEFORE EVERY PLAYER TURNED IN THEIR JOCKS, I TOLD COACH PERRY TO MAKE THEM RUN STADIUMS!!! NO EXCUSE TO NOT WINNING STATE THIS YEAR
Trey Perry should have to run as well for scheduling cupcakes and giving you false hope thinking that you were actually good. You weren’t.

It's a good thing that Mount Juliet tested itself outside of the district. Those games against Glencliff, Clarksville Northwest, and McGavock sure helped prepare Perry and the boys for Rutherford County. I guess those wins are so you can tweet about how many wins that you got added with your dad's wins. Heck, George Quarles and I have combined to win 250 games.
Also, a Rutherford County team won't win state. You three plus Cookeville are about to beat the heck out of each other for 2 games then go to Maryville in the semis. 6A football in East Tennessee other than Maryville is a joke. So, Maryville will be healthy and rested for the semis.

It’s going to be a wet one tonight. Good luck to both teams in the season finale. I expect lots of turnovers and sloppy plays. Wildcats win!

Well most of the time you're way off.. so that's good news for Rossview
Yep. Good news for Rossview. With the weather coming in, I’ll go Rossview 21, Lebanon 6.

Station Camp certainly has to be at least thinking about hiring a new HC. That program has been on decline since late 2014 and only continued to get worse.
We are on that same decline at Wilson Central with our terrible coaching staff. The whole group should go, but I'm going to keep quiet. There are things that we can't control, and that is one.

Is this possibly Dedman's last game at the helm of WC? Hearing rumblings.
Big Money Buddy
This is news to me. I hear the typical parent bashing of coaches (for good reason at times this year), but I haven't heard anything from people in the know. What are you hearing?

You haven't seen this Rossview team play....Several injured players.
Really?! They were rolling when we played them earlier in the year, but I knew something may be up when I saw the Hendersonville score. We got the injury bug as well. Who is out for y'all?
-
I've seen both. Rossview 24, Lebanon 10.
-
I've seen both. Mt. Juliet 34, Hendersonville 17.

Predictions? This game has zero playoff implications as both teams will simply be playing for pride. Our boys have fought hard this season, and I hate to see it end (though I have been looking forward to hoops season a bit). I'm going WIlson Central- 29, Station Camp- 23.
Go Wildcats!

Sorry guys, but I've been down in the dumps this weekend. I honestly thought we were ready to take the next step, and I severely underestimated Lebanon. They are a good football team and hats off to those guys. They deserve it. We played hard, and our coaches can't control fumbles and interceptions. It happens, and there's no reason to get upset now. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy our last game with Station Camp. My son's career is flying by, and there's no need to lose sleep over it. I'm just going to enjoy it.
Go Wildcats!

I've seen both. Hendersonville 31, Rossview 26. Should be a great game.
-
I'm sticking with my original pick. Wilson Central 34, Lebanon 14. 8 in a row.
-
We only had one turnover against LaVergne, and it showed. Our defense forced 5 turnovers. LOL at most of the people in this thread picking Lebanon.

A Lebanon win in either of their last two games (@ WC, @ Rossview) would give them their first true playoff berth since 2007. If WC wins out (LHS, @Station Camp) and Lebanon loses out then WC goes to the playoffs. So very important game Friday night.
It seems like Lebanon's hitting a little bit of a wall right now. After jumping out to a 27-7 lead over Station Camp they had to hold off a furious rally for a 34-32 win with SC failing to convert a 2pt conversion to tie. Then the next week Lebanon looked pretty lifeless in a 19-14 loss @Coffee Co.
Mobile QBs seem to give Lebanon problems. What type of system does WC run? I know they beat LaVergne 38-14 last time out and Lebanon beat Lavergne 31-26 earlier this season. They obviously both were shutout by MJ, while LHS beat Hendersonville and Hendersonville beat WC. Those are the common opponents thus far.
Momentum seems to be on WC’s side right now so I’ll say they win 24-17.
Offensively, we are spread. Our quarterback is mobile, but he doesn't run a lot.
-
We finally played well against LaVergne, and we have the look of a team that can make some noise down the stretch. We finish with two cupcakes then off to Rutherford County for the playoffs. Lebanon is improved, but they won't be a match for us. It may be close for a while, but I'm going Wilson Central- 34, Lebanon- 14.
Go Wildcats!!!!!

It's time for a change at Central. SMH

Score predictions? Thoughts?

I've seen both in person. MJ is the better team, but Rossview will score. If you are a Rossview fan planning to make the trip, make sure that you try out one of those burgers from MJ's concession stand. You won't regret it. My pick: MJ 31-7
