Mt Juliet is beat up and has lost games due to their mistakes. This team has not played to its full capability yet this season. They can strike quick on offense, but they can't come undone between the ears when adversity strikes. If they just stop putting the ball on the ground and make clean throws and keep the chains moving they can win.

Congratulations to Trey Perry, and  Curtis Grah on the Green Hill win! Your 3rd and 4th stringers from 2019 won a varsity game together against Stratford. Without those boys having some real weight program in their life it wouldn’t have happened. I’m sure it has diminished quite a bit since their time at MJ but make no mistake this victory is 100% theirs because of the MJ program. 

This isn’t the typical Blackman team that RuCo is used to but I think that they win easily over WC.

I suspect you are just looking for a rise but you won't get it. What GH did get were a bunch of 3rd-5th string kids. Its understandable that they wanted a chance to play and they got it good for them. Now they have clarity to why they didn't play a lot or at all at MJ. Why would MJ want them back?

What has become even more crystal clear is the facade that CJC has put up around the GH program. New school, new facilities, turf field all that stuff only goes so far. Without winning none of that stuff matters to kids and if it really does they probably are not cut out to play for MJ anyway. Taking all accounts at some point CJC will be called out on empty promises and his lack luster coaching and players parents and the community will want results.

When those results don't come and the sparkle and shiny newness has been stripped away and there is nothing but losing what will he do then? Take your 3 wins on paper. Relish that you are above .500 today on a piece of paper. What will you do Friday when you drop to .500?  Enjoy that for the last time. Because its the last time GH will be there for a long time. You can tell all the stories you want but you cant fake winning. Or knowing how to.

Some grumbling coming out of GH, that parents are disappointed with the outcome after the first couple games. Hearing several promises haven’t been lived up to that were made by CJC.

What defensive struggles? They were winning 30-0 when they put in freshman and gave up 2 tds to the Stewarts Creek first string. I was at the game, the D looked stout to me. As for the Blue Devils I heard they could'nt move the ball against Gallatin at all.

6-4, 5-5 teams go one one of those runs.... Not 2-8 teams. That was maybe the biggest upset in the history of Tennessee high school football. The staff had only been together about 6 weeks.... Gthoh

You aint lying. PC lost all credibility losing to a 2-8 team and became an even bigger side show than previously. There isnt a more talented team in the state that always fails. There are a number of staffs that could take that talent and do something with it every year.
