Saw the position is officially posted. Any leads? Wonder who would apply after what happened this season?
-
That guy isn’t JT.. I would know.. personally don’t have any beef with Carter.. just want to set that straight..
-
Per Stephen Hargis, Owensby has stepped down to join Soddy Daisy Staff
-
Heard Bunch may be in line to replace Fitzgerald.. I don’t know much about him?
-
Tapp put in for Meigs??
-
Heard interviews started today? Any clues as to the Candidates? Heard Ryan didn't get a call for an interview but The Wag did
-
That’s interesting.. that’s what I’ve heard the most is that the community all wants GR back but school aspect is hesitant for some reason.. process is definitely dragging out

Would The Wag really be a good hire long term? Seems the pattern is one or two years and find another school with talent

Would he be a long term solution at heritage?

Im a fan of ETSU.. From the north east area.. I wasn't trying to downplay what they have done in the short period! The success they are having is tremendous for the area and the program. I guess I'm just not ready to say they will be a force on a national scale year in year out. GQ has a great staff full of proven coaches. Im just cautious with claiming that yet. Still think GQ and company have to prove there isn't a drop-off. the SoCon is tough year in year out
-
any news on this one? heard interviews have started
-
I like ETSU and know a lot of coaches that were and still on staff, Randy Sanders built the program up to new heights and GQ should keep the thing rolling. But to say they will be a force to be reckoned with is a stretch imo. ETSU graduates a bit of talent. NDSU runs FCS. The gap in that game was pretty large. VMI is making a push and should make a run at SoCon title. Lets be realistic. College football nothing is a guarantee. They should still be successful but I'm not ready to say they will be a force nationally.

Heard they had plenty of unsportsmanlike penalties and even an assistant coach ejected??
-
I got midway 27-20
-
I think thats accurate.. with Friday night I think Midway will be the 4 seed.. unless they can sneak up on a GB on the road or Coalfield at home.. This region is always plays each other tough but the bottom teams never seem to get over the hump. Im pulling for Oakdale as well! They deserve it this year
-
penalties galore in the Oakdale/Midway game. Oakdale has improved and are athletic.. Midway didn't execute the best Friday night either. Both should be playoff teams
-
McMinn could name their score in this one... Central struggled in their scrimmage to York and Sequoyah and Copper Basin aren't near as talented as McMinn even with the talent that graduated.. McMinn 35-6
-
any idea about prospective coaches?
-
who all applied last go around?

Region 2:
Oakdale High School 9/11/2020 140
Sunbright High School 9/11/2020 152
Coalfield High School 9/11/2020 162
Greenback High School 9/3/2020 239
Midway High School 9/16/2020 247
Oliver Springs High School 9/16/2020 281
Harriman High School 9/16/2020 333
Rockwood High School 9/16/2020 354
Would TSSAA actually make an eight man region here and have a six man in region 1 and a 5 man in region 3? Just doesn't make sense to have an 8-Man instead of sending someone south like GB
