    Milan, go make Gibson county proud! It kind of warms the heart to see a town get behind a team like Milan has gotten behind this team. This is what high school football is all about and, I love it!!! I know that NOBODY thinks you can win the game.... This is a David vs Goliath game.....  Milan has the talent and the players to win this contest. Milan is a huge underdog in the game. If I were and odds maker I would put the line at Alcoa -23.5.  

    Milan must play a perfect game, zero turnovers, get a bonus score (special teams), get a few bonus possessions from Alcoa, and play out of their minds on defense. 

    Being the underdog is one thing, being and underdog when you are Dawgs is another! 

    Go get em Milan!

I watch a lot of film, Milan has enough tools to surprise everyone in Cookeville. I will say this, they don't play physical on a consistent basis. Not real tall but built like a battering ram.  I was able to speak with him before the game and he was extremely humble and very respectful.   Love to see young men that know how to act in public.  Not to mention the kid is a hard running never gives up player.   I know Milan has their work cut out for them with Alcoa but it can be done.   

    Either way,  looking forward to that one and the Oakland game which is my local team.  I've been the scoreboard operator at Oakland for the last 5 years so I reckon I'm partial to them.

    Jon is the best PA announcer ever and his wife is our team photographer. They are awesome people. We so appreciate them in our small town!!!

    I know that Milan is going to miss collecting the gate money from the reduced crowds and JH this coming game.... I guess they are going to have to give out more speeding tickets.... BE CAREFUL IF YOU COMING THROUGH MILAN!!! I have had 1 speeding ticket in my entire life and I got it coming into Milan. 

    Milan loves their town and they want you to see it for a long time!!! Drive too fast and you will have to the town and the judge! 

    Milan will travel well. 1000 tickets were sold to Milan fans on the first day of release. GO DAWGS!!!

    If PC runs rough shot over the Defense of Milan I will streak naked down main street at high noon. Needless to say, I simply do NOT see that happening. Overall team speed on Defense is out of the stadium. SGC had several plays last night that would have been a house call against any defense we have played this year not named Milan. Instead of a house call, it was a modest gain for a first down or about 15 yards. 

    I am actually looking forward to this contest. I like Milan in this game. 

    Much respect to SGC and the program they have built and continue to grow.

    That is correct. The home and visitor sides were swapped with the renovation.

I hope you are all happy. YOU people are the ones hurting the kids that have done nothing wrong.
