You guys are in denial. Waverly is a different team on Friday nights and Thursday nights. Saturday afternoons are for relaxing. They aren't for playing football.
That is a really dumb statement. If they are ready to play on Thursday and Friday but not on Saturday you can put that on the coach. Does he not know how to motivate people on Saturdays. Good thing he don’t coach in college Lol

Prediction???????
28-20 Camden I feel like McConnell will have them scoring a lot of points, that’s also why they don’t ask me to appear on college game day.

I’m sure McConnell will have them ready. He is a heck of a coach. And I know they have a few talented kids. I just think Waverly has more and will be the better team tomorrow. Either way I’m excited.
I’m ready for some football

Well he has also had stud athletes to work with, that always helps. 2 stud QBs. 1 at Waverly surrounded by a highly talented running back, and a highly talented receiver. 1 at Westview. Does Camden have a stud QB? I don’t think so, but I do believe he will put one of his top athletes at that position. Probably one of the running backs or receivers from last year. Have you seen Camden practice? Who knows what they have?
I’ve been told they have a good QB and several athletic receivers, I haven’t seen them practice obviously just been told that at work.
-
What I’ve seen his offenses are always high powered
-
Will Waverly’s defense be good enough to stop McConnells high powered offense Friday night.
-
Will Waverly have enough fire power to score with Camden?
-
Will they even play Camden this year
-
I call it now Camden wins 8 out of next 10 years
-
Camden by 14????
-
Will Waverly ever beat Camden again as long as McConnell is the coach.

Wow. If he wanted to be near home why wouldn’t he have just stayed at waverly ?
He will have more kids to choose from, better facilities, and more community support and money than he had in Waverly.

Hole the young man that got hurt is ok. Not sure what team he was in just heard there was a serious injury.
-
I hope Waverly is prepared for Riverside, they have been totally unprepared for several games this year. It’s obvious the new coach doesn’t put the time in preparation that Mc put in it.
-
Waverly was so unprepared, looked like they had never seen a wet football. Should have played Thursday night and at least made a little money off the gate, the beating would’ve been the same.
-
Rain or shine Westview will score probably 95% of their possessions. I look for this to be a Wavo beatdown.
-
If Waverly can’t chew up the clock running the ball and shorten the game Westview very well may hang 70 on them.

It did do that. I read the scoreboard too. Hopefully we will rebound. No excuses from me. I can think of several reason why we lost but I don't want to bash any of our people. They will adjust and we will be fine.
Waverly has a very weak coaching staff, they did an awful job replacing Matt. The jr high Coach has won for several years with these kids the new coach says aren’t athletic.
-
It’s obvious Waverly got the short end of the Stick in the coaching change. Get embarrassed by a 1A 1 win team. Looks like Waverly football is headed back to being a laughing stock of the region like they were before Matt took over.
-
Covington better enjoy it while it lasts. Next year Westview and their stud coach will run all over everyone in the region.
-
Waverly will beat them ever how bad the new coach wants too, we all know if McConnel was still there he would hang 60 or 70 on them.
