    I can understand you taking up for the kids at SP but as far as being the best lineman on the field those two games I don’t know about it. Stewart probably deserved to be selected as well as the others from SP that made it. Maybe he’ll get voted for the Coaches  All State. Wingo and Headrick along with a couple that were on it last year will be on it.

    That’s my understanding as well. Everything is voted on just a ten game season with playoffs excluded.

    I’m not saying Wingo or Raulston didn’t deserve to make it. Maybe they need to change the way they vote for the kids to make all-state instead of listing them at positions just vote them for it. Condra must’ve deserved it or he wouldn’t have been selected for it. I’d have to take Condra, the kid pretty much controlled the offensive line of scrimmage all year.

    I’m not saying you are knocking them. I agree with you that Wingo and Raulston should’ve been selected. I was referring that if they listed as athlete like they did Petty the past couple years, maybe it would’ve been different.

    I agree, they are better than some of the kids on the list at the positions they played. Maybe the coaches should’ve turned them in as athletes or a different position that they didn’t play at all year.

    It’s no different than Raulston Petty Roberts and others making it last year as juniors at their position. I agree they both should’ve made it and maybe they would’ve if they changed the position to another position. They’re always good players being left off the list every year. If kids are being picked for the positions that they play all year then they deserve it. JS

    Condra made it for a offensive lineman and Kilgore made it as a defensive lineman. Those kids making it as lineman shouldn’t have no bearings with the out come of Wingo and Raulston making it, they were RB/LB. Both should’ve been named as well.

    Wingo gets snubbed for All-State this year just like another back that got snubbed for it last year. Both very good backs for their teams in different years.

    I agree both Wingo and Raulston should’ve been on it as well.

    Condra is the kid they ran 90% of the offensive plays behind all year. Got doubled teamed most of the year on defense and the younger brother of 22 that was their RB last year. Kilgore kid played defense only with a lot of tackles for loss yards.

    The only reason the kid went to Jasper in the first place is because the principal at the middle school has no backbone. Would rather cover their own butts than to find out the truth.I can promise you that he’s not jumping on the band wagon.

    I agree with you. Greenback wasn’t the same animal this season. Gilbert was better than your kid from Alcoa no doubt about it. Also Willis is really good.  Whitwell has a good team. Just like SP and Greenback have had a lot of years. Every year is different though and you just have to be good enough that season.

    Whitwell is physical as well as having speed. C-ville better get ready to be hit for 4 qtrs as well cause they may get hit harder than they’ve all year.
