  1. All of y’all have spoke the truth on how this game went. I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing those missed opportunities on the deep balls for us but things like that happen unfortunately. I usually watch as much film on our opponents as our coaches do lol but this year has been different so I really didn’t know what White House had. Was very enjoyable to watch that game and forget kinda what we’ve endured in Waverly. Can’t say enough about the Titans organization for making that happen! Was very enjoyable for me even with the L

  2. Games are so hard to predict this year because of the amount of injuries and players on quarantine. You can watch film or even go watch teams play in person and not know who they have missing and how much they impact their team. Some of y'all study it more than I do but that's my take on it. I don't know if Forrest will have any players this week that arent on film that I watched and I think Waverly should be at full strength except the two injured players. With all that said I think this will be a darn good game and if we have done our homework (coaches&players) and we play like we did against westview, riverside, and the second half of Loretto we should win. If not then Forrest wins.

I promise you I am not playing down a team who:

    • Blew a 14-0 lead at 2-8 4A Portland
    • Was not competitive against 1A Moore Co
    • Was only up 5-0 at half against "Worst team in 1A/2A" Community
    • Lost to mediocre-at-best Cascade at home.

Well we have looked bad at times as well so I'm expecting a battle like every time y'all have visited our cow pasture.

Unlike the R5 champ game, which will be an embarrassing beatdown for the Rockets, this game looks to be very competitive between two even strong programs. I'd be interested to know which defense has been better. Riverside looks to be slightly more explosive offensively.

Riverside is also at home. ill give them a slight edge but this could go either way. I'll say 27-24 Panthers.

I would have give the defense edge to RS because they have played all their games and I don't think they've had many if any players miss because of covid so their continuity is probably better. Waverly on the other hand missed 3 games together and other weeks had players quarantine due to contact tracing so we have only seen the full team for only a couple of games. RS is fast and very aggressive on D and very well coached. Not looking forward to the 3 inches of rain that they are predicting for the next few days. Hope your game with LC is closer than you described General

Nope. I won’t formations and everything lol

I figure we will spread you out and pound 24 some, with a dash of lightning (we have a #20 as well) and 8 is kind of a mix between those two and if you load the box for that we will let our lefty Qb go to the air. Kinda pretty similar to you guys really, two pretty well coached defenses for sure. I've seen good and bad from both teams but I expect both teams best effort Friday night and it should be an exciting game.

Yes ,and utilize the entire playing field to your advantage, you aren't anywhere near as fast as Wavo teams of the past ,that being said ,wide open receivers in space all night Thursday, yet y'all ran into a loaded box .

It's been a little bit of an adjustment for us Waverly fans going from a pass heavy coach to a run heavy coach. Don't get me wrong they both know how to use the other but that's their first choice. Also we went from one that like to totally dominate our opponents to one that in my opinion sand bags somewhat when he thinks we can beat a team without showing everything every game, and for the record I like both coaches but they have differences. Now as for this year's team in just the 3 games I've seen it's been the good, the bad, and the ugly. And it's hard to judge this team as a whole because I'm not sure if we've played more than a game or two without one or more starters missing. One thing for sure is we have to clean up penalties and quit being selfish at times or this season will be shorter than the past few.

I just don't know what to say ,if this is just rust for Wavo or what ? They show moments of greatness and then moments of mediocrity ! The passing game is the strong point imo,run game is not great. And them as I am typing Waverly's line blocks beautiful 2 plays and they look great ,lord idk what to thing Tiger Nation ,y'all are either really good or blaah. I see sparks of a semifinal team then not so much

I'm not at this game but I know what you are saying because I've seen it in other games. We're kinda young, probably a little rusty and as much as the boys have been thru were playing were not playing, o were gonna play two games this week to no games lol. I live football and it's been hard for me to stay pumped about the season so I'm sure it has a small effect on the team as well. And like Vandy said I hope 20 is OK because we definitely need him.
