  1. I didn't watch the game, I did listin to it on the radio. The offense struggled to get anything going all game it seemed like and that kept the defense on the field for way to long. Munford physically wore covingtons defense out. I hope they figure something out on the offensive side of the ball, I wasn't impressed with their performance in the jamboree and it looks like it might have carried over into this game. I know it's just 1 game in a long season so I'm sure they will get it goin and figured out pretty quickly.

I understand your point. However, people thinking that a game is rigged, or the officials had it out for the Chargers is silly. Covington will get a chance to play DBurg again. Settle the score then.

Not saying that at all. It's just frustrating when it's called one way. Covington had the opportunitys to win, just hate that alot of the calls were made in big play moments, and had big effects on momentum.

Yo, calm down man. Are you okay? I know people get emotional and fired up about games, but calling the refs " stupid idiots " is going too far. If you want to say they suck at their job, cool. My question would be have you ever been a ref? Have you ever reffed a highly contested ball game? Refs are going to make mistakes, miss holds, and give bad spots. Covington should not have left the game up to the refs. They should have come in and handled business. I used to be the same way you are until someone called me out and asked me those exact same questions. The T$$AA has a hard enough time finding officials already!

But when a game is called one way on one team all night......makes it hard, not to be  hard on the refs.

I agree that the offense has sputtered at times. Having Marcus Hayes out for games 2 and 3 has forced other guys to carry the load. They have done well, but getting Hayes back at running back will give us that "take it to the house" potential any time he touches the ball. I believe that he will return this week vs. Brighton.

Oh I agree 100% having marcus back will make a big difference nothing against any of the other kids they have done good too. Fayne and dowell have stepped in and  looked really good, and flowers is a good full back, and the qb ruffin has done pretty good for these being his first few starts. I believe they will get better with every week and when they are clicking on all cylinders it will be scary for the rest of the region.

My guess is that he will be ready. He was fully dressed out at the jamboree, with no bandages, braces, etc. I will be really surprised if he doesn’t play.

That's good, need him as health as can be, since I'm sure he is going to be a do everything guy on both sides of the ball.

  6. #7 Hayes should be able to show out on the turf in cookeville, where he can actually open it up,and not have to worry about slipping making a cut as much as he has the last few weeks.

I can't wait to make the trip. I didnt get to make it to last years game do to work, but I will be there Saturday for this awesome rematch of last years game.

Well that makes 2 of us....our offense has been having troubles of their own for several weeks now. We’ve lost a couple of key linemen and are apparently not confident in shotgun anymore. Our defense has been bailing us out as of late. I hope the offense gets it figured out by Saturday!

I think alot of that had to do with poor field conditions the past few weeks, in my opinion. On a dry field I would think they will be running the shotgun.

Some of Stratfords players are classless and ish talkers but that doesn’t erase how Covington’s players acted too. Covington’s coach told Stratford coaches at Mid field, FU take y’all A$es back to Nashville.

How do you know what the coaches said at mid field?

I just check the latest forecast and it’s possible that the majority of the rain will hold off until midnight....I hope to see you in Covington Friday night if it holds off. I hope Stratford can bring some support as well

I hope that's the case, if that happens the field should be pretty dry for game time.

No.  Stratford’s RB has ran for 600 yards the last two weeks against Pearl-Cohn and Fairview.  Their OL is huge and he runs downhill with anger.

That may be the case, but the chargers will be ready come friday for whatever is thrown at them. They gang tackle and pursuit to the ball very well.

  11. Should be a good game, it was last year when they meet in the second round.

If Hayes comes out and runs like he did in the last game against Milan, it could be a long night for the Bulldogs.

But beating a team twice is a hard thing to do, and they are battle tested. Im looking forward to a really good game. Should be a big crowd friday, which will make for an awesome atmosphere.
