  1. I have heard Brighton was going to ride the cheese until a coach had to beg a parent to help out!! They were able to convince the parent to donate it so they could at least have a comfortable ride home after getting pushed around   At least that parent had 3500 to spend on buses.   It's gonna be a long bus ride home fellas!!!!!!

  2. The only question tonight will be at what point will the clock start running?    Basketball season has begun and that is when it shuts down at B-Town.   Brighton did not have a 100 people on the home side at its last game and I had to sit and watch that disaster.    I'm ready for it to be over and thankfully today it will be.

My son and I will be pursuing his college football opportunities on our own with NCSA because we know he will not get any help from the staff at Brighton!!!!

I have to agree that there is probably some strategy going on here. The "facts" of the situation are pretty clear, however. The amount of points that Brighton is allowing each game makes it quite evident that they don't put a priority on defense...and we all know what wins championships. Henry County has hung their hats on this fact for years.

Great observation.  I wouldn't call it a lack of priority, I would call it laziness.  Brighton has as many defenses as there are teams in the NFL.    I have been to every game this year and sometimes it is a 2 man front, 3 man front, 4 man front, 5 man front, 6 man front and finally a 7 man front.  It also seems like the coordinator is playing a video game or sonething.  Somebody said that nobody has a clue what defense he is running.    The players don't, the coaches don't, the parents don't, the booster club doesn't, the cheerleaders do not even know.   They had a great defensive coordinator that won several state titles at another school.   He was the D.C.  for the first five games  last year, then he mysteriously somehow got SICK.    He looked well at every game he came too after, but he was too sick to Coach is what My son was told.  They were referring to sick as being ill, but he was sick to his stomach at what was going on is what I think.

You seem to have an intimate knowledge of the Brighton football program, and yet, just enough disdain in your tone to have a bit of a chip on your shoulder. Hmmmm . . . 2 + 2 = Taken any good naps on a high jump mat in the middle of a track meet lately, Coach . . . I mean "Expertguru81"? The irony of that name isn't lost on me, by the way.

It seems that we all agree on a score give or take a few points.   I will indeed be there Friday night waiting to see if the score is the score that I predicted.    It's very hard to win at Henry County.   I am quite sure you have been there several times.

Brighton fans will hope they continue to score as many points during the basketball season...which will start for them on Saturday. Sad thing for Brighton is that they've always had the athletes, just no coaching. Henry County cruises to the semi's. Just hope the lack of competition on this side of the bracket doesn't hurt the Patriots. HC 69 Brighton 14

Brighton needs to hire a coach that is able to build a program.   The program now is in a state of disarray.   Coaches are arguing in front of the children.   The program has the best weight room in West Tennessee and is not utilized.   Plus it's basketball season so we all know what that means.   Henry County 72 Brighton 10.

Expertguru81 is on the money with this one. Last year's Brighton Cardinal team had the best chance of making a deep run had it not been for the 2 thugs they brought in from Memphis with that 500 lb coach. One of those boys is headed to jail if not already there. And that Coach has run Liberty's high-powered offense 66 feet in the ground.

Sounds like a typical Coach.      Always placing the blame on someone else, but the actual problem.    Don't get me wrong, Hopefully Brighton wins this one, but the offense might have to score 71 points due to the fact the defense may give up 69-70 points.   And that golf course is four rounds deep so Good luck.

  7. This one does not go well for Brighton.  They will be up against a very well coached team.   The head coach at Brighton is an absolute joke.   Brighton should be a state championship team already.   He has put them so far back as a program.  The head coach's only role is the water boy.    The offensive coordinator is the head coach.   If Mike David were to not be able to coach, I am not sure what would happen.   The defensive coordinator has been to 18 schools in 20 years.   His defensive schemes have more holes in it than a golf course!!!  They give up about 35 a game!!!!   The kids are throwing helmets on the sideline when they lose.   They were able to get by these past two weeks because of talent (Week 1) and coaching (Week 2).    This week will be much different.
