Anna Trull applied, this marks the second time that the administration has said no to her. Heard quite a few people  put an application in.

Somebody must be holding her ex-husbands past against her. She is beyond qualified and experienced and she is the best girls player to come out of there??? Wilkins will be ok though. With the added benefit of this district falling way off the growing pains won’t be so bad for him hopefully. Mckenzie and WC should be best two in this district.

That would have been the 2016 season. Got knocked out by Bradford in the first round of Region at West Carrol’s gym. Blonde headed young lady. I hadn’t seen her around. You say she is at Wayne County now?

Yes Coach Ashley and her husband (who assists her now) who was boys coach at Huntingdon at same time she was at West Carroll both are currently at Wayne County

Did she coach West Carrol a few years ago? They had some serious talent the year Bradford knocked them out. Where did that coach go? You have to have discipline. One thing about GC’s Coach you don’t have to worry about. They make a sloppy play or don’t box out or give it there all they are running or doing push ups. If they don’t pay attention to detail in practice they won’t in the game either.

She is at Wayne County now.

Oh okay yeah your right I guess I didnt play all 4 years of college football at Arkansas st:lol:

Naw cause Real Athletes recognizes Real Atheletes and you are unrealistic. See i can admit that WV is a good team and I can call out good players. I know Jada is a good athlete but to say she can’t be stopped by Greenfield??? Cmon That is just ludicrous and doing that kid a huge disservice as everyone cracks up knowing how that would really go down.

just sounds like your mad to me lol. You are probably one of those dads who wasn't good at any sports and now you gotta live through your kids success at sports

Wrong again sweet cheeks. Played all 4 years in college and it didn't cost me a dime.  Can you say the same???? Probably not. So quit licking the windows on the bus. There is a virus out there lol

and also nobody said she got offered because she played at westview? she got offered because she performs at a high level wherever she plays. Nor did I say nobody could stop her... I said no one at Greenfield could..

That last statement is nothing short of stupidity. They only one team that went undefeated and it don’t start with a W!

I know "whats really up" thats why I am making the argument? When they supposedly "played" each other which they didnt. Jada would have been straight out of the 8th grade. She now has a whole season of confidence, experience, etc...  behind her. Im here to let you know. There isnt a girl on Greenfields team that can stop Jada.

Bahhhaa. Ok we get you Jada granny or whatever. Get off here with that mess. Jada played all summer with the Foxes. She got more experience in that summer than she got her entire life. She didnt get offered because she played at Westview. Nobody can stop her is a joke..... anyhow Westview is still the second best team in Weakley County!

Heck if we are gonna talk about who we know. I know all of WV players and Greenfield personally. But back to your accusation.. its false.. but I guess we will never find out either and thats the sad part.

What do you find false? If you know all them girls personally then you should know whats really up. Truth don’t hurt near as bad if you quit turning a blind eye too it.

Jada Harrison? lol and sounds like to me you're just another WV hater. Its alright we have quite a few of those. Hard not to when you make it to the state tournament 8 years in a row....

Yes she wasnt any help for them neither. He pulled her quick cause she kept turning it over in the backcourt. Im not hating just realistic. Know most of them girls personally. WV girls are a good team but they dont match up good against Greenfield. They was going to see that same 4 quarters of pressure from Macon if they got past Upperman.

Show me the numbers then.. screenshot? website?... I like some good crack

I was there and saw it with my own eyes! Bucky was goin crazy..... swapping out girls left and right and couldn't fix it. They have been really lucky that they haven't seen anything like it since. Easy to see Westview Is gonna fall off a bit when Yancey and Callins graduate. There goes the ball handling with those girls.

Westview would BEAT greenfield this year. Show me where greenfield beat Westview.. Id like to see the numbers.

LMAO Get off the crack and get you some help. Westview would be lucky if they could keep it a 20 point game. They scrimmaged each other in November and couldnt even break Greenfields press till the Coach pulled them out of it.

So Clarkrange/Loretto are the best Single A teams based on what? Both beat the 2 worst teams in the tournament in Huntingdon and North Greene. Loretto had their shot during the regular season to beat Greenfield and came up short. I was at the game and if Greenfield hits half their shots they win by 20+ instead of 6. The twins from Calrkrange are legit. Most girls play and move like girls. These 2 play like boys. They did whatever they wanted against a bad Huntingdon team. I believe Greenfield wouldn't let that happen. To not mention the only undefeated team in the state as the best is a joke...

On top of that Clarkrange lost to Clay County who was 18-10. Greenfield would be too much for them like last year.

Thought it was a defensive game and Greenfield shot pretty bad but created more TO’s than Loretto therefore having more possessions. It was pretty even until Chloe took over the last 3 or 4 minutes of the game. What would have been interesting for Greenfield would have been could they still create the TO’s they did on the bigger floor because they didn’t last year against Loretto. And this is not that it would happen it is the fact that it would have had to happen to beat Greenfield. I will say Greenfield and their coaches done an excellent job of focusing more on defense this year and they were a lot better defensive team. They could have an ugly offensive game and beat you. Not so sure everyone else could.

That is how i saw it too. The worst shooting game Greenfield had all season. Im sure playing Loretto who beat them last year, putting ranked 1 and 2 against each other that early, Coach Harper in the stands, and the packed house in attendance which Westview said they can’t remember it being that packed in along time weighed in heavier on Greenfield.  Last years Greenfield  did have some blowouts but the competitive games were always within 10. IMO lack of defense but this year I agree that their staff focused on Defense more. They are alot better rounded team this year than past. I think that if Greenfield had indeed been in their comfort zone that would have been another 20 to 30 point game. hats off to all these girls and coaches that made it. Only bad scouting i saw was on Pickett not face guarding #4 on GC. What was he thinking??? Hope these teams get to finish.

He is not "way off".  He is referring to Mimi Mcbee as our PG that was sidelined the entire year until that game.  It was her first game action of the year.

And you referring to everyone having to travel to state.  Yes, you are right.  Level playing field.  But if you think your team staying home, and another team riding 3 hrs on a bus to play you at home gives you no advantage, you have never played sports.

I played at every level so how about you? I also have coached and i never used a bus ride as a excuse for losing. Maybe in your ancient years old timer it was a impact but these days not so much. Like I said both of those teams have multiple girls traveling year round playing or practicing ball at alot higher level than high school. A little bus ride isn't why Loretto got beat.

Correct me if my 2nd / 3rd hand info is incorrect.

Loretto’s point guard - 1st game of season- played 10 min - game was played at Gibson Co HS which essentially made it a home game for Greenfield versus a 3 hour drive for the Loretto team.

Now imagine those factors I just mentioned were reversed and Chloe - 1st game of season - 10 min played - 3 hour drive. Loretto would have beat them by 30 in that scenario therefore they should let Clarkrange play Loretto for the gold ball.

Myagi son- Your 2nd/3rd hand info is way off.  It was about the 6th game for both and Loretto PG played whole game that was at Westview not GC - Not like Greenfield goes there and shoots on their goals on the weekly lol.  Most those girls on both teams play ball year round traveling all over the country playing stiffer competition in AAU than they do in HS. The two and a half hour drive is laughable.....just about everyone at the glass house drives over two hours so is that Going to be their excuse to getting beat last week? This isnt Clarkrange’s year yet. Maybe next but not this year. It would be a Greenfield vs Loretto final.

Pretty much the same Greenfield team though...what's your point?  And according to you Greenfield fans , you guys were the perennial "self appointed" State Champions last year.  What happened ? Oh yeah, GC brought home the Gold trophy. Once again, better on paper , doesnt translate to Championships. You think Greenfield is unbeatable? And just out of curiosity,  how many times has Greenfield been to the Boro? How many state championship Gold Balls do they have in their trophy case? How many Silver Balls do they have? Let's compare trophy cases!

My point is this GC team couldn't beat this Greenfield team in any scenario short of a team sickness or multiple player injuries. #FACTS

In all honesty, I don't think we could've beat Loretto this year. They're a powerhouse and we're not the same team as last year, even though I'm extremely proud of how our girls played and how far they got. On the other side of the bracket, I think Greenfield v. ClarkRange could've went either way. My biggest concern with Greenfield is the way they play. If they got the wrong officiating crew, they'd have foul trouble early. In the end, I think Loretto would've won it all if it had played out. I was at the Greenfield v. Loretto early in the season at Westview and yes, it was like a home game for Greenfield. Greenfield won that day, but that game is like every other 1st half of the season game.....it's not played the same. Little Darby kept Greenfield in the game in the 1st half and Chloe took it over in the 4th. At the Boro and with the longer court, I predict Loretto would've won by 6-10. They're very long at every position, have a U-Conn recruit, and are better rebounders. Wished it all could've played out, because today would've been an awesome day of basketball.

Who on Loretto is being recruited by UConn?

  18. Pioneer42 I am sure the teams do respect everybody and arent underestimating any of the other 7. Everybody is playing good ball to be this far. My reference was to the corvette comment only. I see on here how everyone says we had a good team and Greenfield beat us like a drum every game we played them.  IMO them girls are real good.

In Murfreesboro they will call it tough. They won’t let the physical stuff go. Call a ton of charges up there too.

If the D2 games are any indication looks like some of the fans better toughen up. Those refs were letting them go. Basketball is evolving and girls are starting to play like the boys and making it more physical. Makes for some great ball playing!

When they reclassified every one, they were a Single A school and below the numbers. Y’all act like the TSSAA is doing an injustice. They don’t check but every few years. Can’t believe I am seeing posts about Greenfield complaining about possibly having to play Loretto. Unbelievable.

I personally wasnt complaining about playing Loretto. I think it plays out to a great story line like Hoosiers. Hope it plays out because it is gonna sell a lot of tickets at the glasshouse But if you just mention the enrollment that is reported their fans go nuts like you are trying to pick on them. What is really hilarious is you get 4 different responses that all claim to be official and then your called petty for calling them out on it.  I didnt ask for any justification i know what is reported.
