Congratulations to McKenzie, Dresden, Gleason and Wayne County. Dresden and Gleason you had a nice run and great season.
McKenzie will be tough again next year! Lose Dyer, which will hurt but Davis is real deal.
Dresden returns everyone next season. Curry is also the real deal.
Wayne County will lose 3 I believe. Which will hurt but the freshman post is legit.
Will not surprise me one bit if these teams are back at the glass house next season.

I know West TN basketball. It’s just a different atmosphere.

Stephenson had his kids ready to play tonight… the game was a war! Big time atmosphere for some small town girl’s basketball!
Great atmosphere! Better than UTM in my opinion. Could of used some AC or a door open, it was warm.

Peabody has gotten HOT at the right time!
Trenton has a great team! They are going to be a team to be reckoned with in the future. I believe they have no seniors, like Dresden. Got a feeling we will see these 2 matching up in next few years. The environment was great also, much better atmosphere than at UTM. Wish the air or doors would of been opened, we were packed in like sardines.

They just looked like a team on a mission. Lipfsey, Anderson and the whole team just was all engaged. Unbelievably focussed. Great game plan by Stephenson. The team tonight could play with McKenzie. Greenfield I mean just got beat. When you get 5 or 6 3’s from your 3-7, I mean it is hard to overcome that.
Gleason was the more aggressive team tonight. Greenfield didn’t have the players making shots that they had last week. Anderson was great tonight. The FT shooting down the stretch was good too. Dresden is going to have hands full and their not even a top team, wonder how they’ve got this far?

Trenton answered the question for us. Won by 12 over Bradford.
Yep, Region tournament at Trenton. Interesting matchups. Dresden vs. Trenton and Gleason vs. Greenfield. Nobody better overlook Peabody. They beat a good Bradford team who beat Gleason and lost to Dresden two times by 1. It would also not surprise me to see Gleason pull an upset over Greenfield. It all depends on who makes shots.

If 13A sweeps, they’ll play the semi-finals & championship at UTM I believe. They’ll have to navigate around the college games. I think that’s how that’ll work if there is a sweep on Thursday.
Was told last night district champion would host if 13 A was to seeep

Bradford has already beaten Trenton twice so a sweep seems highly likely. Of course it’s tournament time and anything can happen. I would hope we could the move the tournament to UTM but Trenton is a neutral site so it’s no big deal. I hate Gleason and Greenfield are in the same bracket because either team could have gone a long way this year. Dresden is a very good team and in region championship game in my opinion.
Believe it would go back to district champion school campus, so Greenfield would host Region tournament.

How many points did Edie Darby have against Dresden ? Lady Vol guards are not very good. She might be able to help them.
33, she’s a good player but playing D-1 at the SEC level for a 5’4 inch guard will be real tough if she is on the main roster.

Hard to believe only Greenfield or Gleason will be at state. Greenfield playing better ball right now but Gleason has some good victories. Wouldn’t be surprised if all four in 13 A win first round of Region.
Not that hard to believe. Dresden is playing really good and is really young. Probably not where people picked them but West has done a terrific job getting them ready. Bradford is also good, have been super close on wins over Dresden and Gleason. This district was super tough this year.

Listen .. you’ll never meet a more honest, level, & fair-minded guy than me.. and also an ALL LIONS fan.. but with my own eyes I saw what happened, & it on film for any to see, the Rebel Nation could make an airtight case in any fair court and win hands down if they’d “sue” officials for one-sidedness and unfair calls. Not deflecting anything nor dissing players.. the score may have been about same without calls, as Dresden would have gotten ball more. But to NOT SAY the truth when it is soooo obvious, now THAT is disrespectful to everyone! (Case closed)
I’m just saying it’s not on officials. Penalties, fumbles, missed assignments, bad calls, good calls, etc… it’s all part of the game. I’m from Dresden and we got beat. Hopefully, we grow and get better. The effort was fantastic

Dresden opened a lot of eyes tonight. Most people thought we would get smoked. This team plays hard and never quits. Should win out and finish in the #2 spot. Keep it rolling!

A loss is a loss. It sounds bad and disrespectful to the team when you try and blame officials. Great effort tonight, take responsibility and get better!!

SHELBYVILLE.....End of discussion while Insell was there. Very intimidating when you walk in the lobby area and see all that hardware and then all the banners. WOW
Riverdale has a good run going though

I can promise you that there is accountability, but behind closed doors The game tapes will be analyzed. The officials will face the scruntity of their peers. Judgement calls are rarely questioned, but can be. Misapplication of the rules gets a strong reaction from the powers that be.
I've known several coaches who have complained, sent films in and done everything they can do to see to it that refs are held accountable. It's sad but the TSSAA really can't do much about it. I mean there are not an over abundance of people lined up to ref. I know Saturday's games were bad, but lets focus on the teams that won. Besides a ref has never missed a ft, lay up, shot or box out, or turned it over during a game. You have to live with some mistakes and go on.

ClarKrange, Loretto, Summertown, Dresden, Gibson County and Greenfield will all be favorites to reach the Glass House if they keep their teams together. I heard that there is a possibility that some very good players may be changing schools this summer. I guess we will see but if it happens some teams chances drop and others enter the picture.
