Fulton give it a shot. That double OT didn't help. Like I said my Hamilton Wildcats win our second title in four years out of tough Memphis.

We got a all classes reunion coming up. It's going to be fine!!!!. A lot of us proud Hamiltonians. Got a big rally scheduled for Tuesday at City council meeting along with East.

You know this time of year always brings back memories . Back in 83 a brand new school in its third year gets into state tournament in AA . Memphis east was the power House in AA that year . The new school was Beech , was just hoping to draw opposite of East we did . Everyone except us thought it was one and done didn't give us white boys a chance . One by one we knocked them off and there sat east waiting for  us in the finals . Knew we we're in throuble at half . We played our best half of the year near flawless and still down 2 . Got to the fourth and they put us away . Still Great memories of surprising all those people in memorial gym  by getting to the finals and playing with east for a half .

As for this year . Like to see Stratford Fulton matchup . Take winner of that game against Hamilton

We will see RebelRon. I just hope our kids don’t get caught up in being there. We’re really young so who knows but we get by the first round you never know. This team reminds me of the 65 team that nobody expected to even be in the state tournament and they finished Runner-up.

    Hamilton rolls.

The general consensus seems to be when #3 allows others to participate in the offense Alcoa is a tough out for anyone. When he goes out looking to stuff the stat sheet they are mediocre at best. Also seems that #3 is the one to make the decision as to which it will be. Fulton baited Alcoa to play the latter in the Regional Final and they took it hook, line and sinker! Game over! Best of luck to them in the tourney though.

Memphis schools 2-0 on the day in blowouts

The point was Hamilton was not 39-0 in 2015 like someone stated.  Someone else stated it also wasn't Hamilton that played an ineligible player that it was Ridgeway (Which again was wrong ).

    They were 39-0 in 2006

Yes, Memphis has a good chance with East-3A, Hamilton-2A & Douglas/Mase-1A but you never know what will happen in the glass house! Good teams & good coaching everybody is there for a reason! I’m looking forward to watching the boys tournament!

Whitehaven gets it started for Memphis, 53-36 over Knoxville Powell.

Well, with almost two times the population of the greater metro Knoxville area you would expect they could field more quality 10-12 man rosters that make up a quality basketball team. However, that does beg the question as to why they can't field more quality 60-80 man rosters to field quality football teams. The football there is putrid. I will give them credit on the basketball though, they got it going on in Memphis.

One is that the last few years, Memphis teams have done good in the football playoffs. Secondly, the talent is spread out in this area. And then most school don't have the coaching and staff like they do in middle and east Tennessee.

I wish you could catch some of the HS games in Memphis. Were talking about East, Ridgeway Melrose, Hamilton, Raleigh-Egypt, Booker T. Washington, Whitehaven, Craigmont., Central, Mitchell. Then you got the suburbans..Bartlett, Germantown, Covington, West Memphis( Ark.), Olive Branch ( Ms.) and Southaven (Ms.). Tough night every night in Memphis. I know I left somebody out. Oh , the privates, CBHS, Briarcrest, ECS, MUS, Northpoint.

Clay County is a year ahead of schedule.  They don't lose anyone so this is all gravy right here.  They were one point away from winning the state championship last year and will be one of the favorites next year and for several years to come as their 8th grade class is very talented.  Of course we all know that Memphis is Memphis, so much talent down there and T$$AA allows them to change schools like the rest of us change our underwear.  So any Class A school out of Memphis has to be always considered a favorite.  If Clay can handle Douglas's AAU style of play they can definitely score the basket.  Should be a heck of a good game.
