If my calculations are correct then Betsy will travel to AC provided both win there conferences. And the last time this happened Betsy ran home to mom crying because Cory Russell got sacked. Corrct me if I am wrong. But it ended up in a blow out win for the mighty Mavericks!

Ok I am stepping in to help Mavinflight. Greeneville fans and Betsy both are boxing him in about the Mavs defense. A lot of speculation about Mavs defense. The Mavs Defense is just fine. Stumbled with Howard score could have 49-0. After reading most post I really think DevilMan and BVD are the same people. BVD needs to come out of the room and admit he is Devil's man. As my name implys this is ACMAVS time to win the state. They will have to be ready for Betsy first. I will givey score soon on both. Go Mavs

You need to get caught up on last name corrected spelling of AC Head coach.....It is spelled Gillum not Gillium You may have been talking about another coach some other team if so I apologise. Greeneville scheduel is not much better seriously. This is AC's year hence ACMAVS time to shine I have confidence AC will take down Greeneville comfortablly. This is the Year of The Maverick!

When the Mavs step out on to the field Nov 16 They have The Greatest fans in East Tennessee and the Greatest show on Turff. Fireworks igniting like all hech has broke loose. Fans waving there Maverick Bells. The noise will be so high Greeneville will mixup play calling and the stands will begin to shake similar to a small earthquake. Those Maverick boy will be men that night. Friday night lights up on ole Rocky Top! Weeee baby what an atmosphere what a show the Mavericks will put on. East Tennessee has not seen this one for a long time; if ever!!! Whoa Go Mavericks! Hookum

I honestly can say I do believe that AC can beat Greeneville; I was in belief as well last year and they just came up short. And there were the same comments posted by Greeneville posters last year. It almost is a replica of the same post when I look back with the exception of dev3 calling Mercy rule I think he laid off Mavflight a little this year. Might be called respect.

No that is not what he meant. This situation would have never escalated had he not tried to use that statement as an excuse to what more and more looks to have been escalated due to the head coach of Clinton. Does not make sense either. Mavs were winning and had nothing to lose on the other hand Clinton had nothing to lose but a lot to gain. And knowing the coaching staff at AC that bucket of thought does not hold water. AC has a great coaching staff; this is completely out of character.

AC vs Clinton Football tickets will be available during school hours this week. Come to the front office at ACHS to get your tickets so you do not have to stand in line. Reminder the game is Thursday at 7:00. Tickets are $7.00.

We hear a lot about the Mavericks but would like to get some good opinions on Hixon this year from area Chattanooga's. Does Hixon have the possibility of upsetting the Mavericks!

I like what Know news prepxtea said of Anderson County Martin; back to his usual performance. 46 TD last year and almost 4000 yards. He actually was over 4000. 

The senior was 24-of-30 for 319 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in the 33-20 win over William Blount. 

That was a very good performance and he was limited due to his condition. Just hope they keep him healthy because I know he wants his hands on Greeneville.

The Ac defense is awful both on run defense and pass defense. If they want to even compete with the defending champs they better get better and quick. Because imo they won’t make it past Betsy in the second round or possibly even the first round. 

If I correctly recall I think the Mavs beat Granger county 65-40 and then is when Greeneville stated or rather DevilMan that they would mercy rule the Mavs after that game. Not sure you can justify the WB game would be a Mercy rule for Greeneville. Unless you DevilMan know more about AC then I do. I am new to this but I belive the Mavericks can bring home the Golden Ball to where it belongs Anderson County High School. Correct me if I am wrong.

Congrats to Michael Carroll as the MVP player of the week! Varsity's All Access. Carroll will be rolling up some yards this season and top defence plays. Looking forward to watching him in action all season.

No I would disagree but better yet we should eventually see Elizabethton #1 AC #2 and Greeneville #4 at some point during the season. Elizabethton will most likely be playing AC on November 16 live TV coverage too! Look forward on welcoming Elizabethton to Mavericks home!

I think the biggest difference will be the AC defense. I see the defense stopping WB enough that the Mavs scoring machine goes to work with a comfortable win. WB will not be a Carter so the Mavs will actually have to be ready to play a strong 4 quarters.

It would have easily ended with Mav victory as they almost won anyway despite Martin limping on one leg and I guess any of us would have thrown interceptions when we should not be on the field period Anyways that was his decision and I respect it. Point is we still almost won that speaks volumes!

Yeah I am not surprised. It's all politically motivated to get people like DevilMan and the media excited; thumping chest saying see were the best that ever played high school football. Ha Ha I do not thank so. I would see Maryville and many other teams start a running clock.
