The Gates stay open for all Mavericks. Greeneville fans can come in at 5:30. I recall at Greeneville, before they let AC fans into the stadium 2 years ago. They let all the Greenville fans in to get there seats on the visitors side first.

EH and SS should be a toss up? IMO Besty will have it made till the 3rd rd. Then the 3rd round should be a great game. But Green and AC will need to beat up on each other first. I think Green will be the favorite till someone knocks them out of playoffs.

AC has surprised me this year! I say  AC if they came in 2nd would play SS 1st round then 2nd rd go to Betsy. I'm going to try to make the playoffs.

Starters back:    #6 Elliott, #10 Thomas, #16 Miller #54 Lindsay #58 Cummings #65 Terry.

 But we have a lot of kids that rotated in on offense and defense with a lot of game experience .

AC Football players  (3starters) are playing better but not there yet.

Powell brings back a large majority of it's starters/significant contributors.  They do lose a couple of quality linemen, but will be a veteran team, especially at QB, RB, and WR.  The Panthers should be a legit contender in region 3-5A and one of the better 5A teams in the Knoxville area next fall.  Matt Lowe has done a really good job in getting Powell back to respectablity in a short period of time.  

And interesting side note is that the game will be the homecoming for Greeneville DC Eddie Spradlen.  Eddie was an all region player at Powell under former coach Clark Duncan, who is now the head coach at South-Doyle.  It will be great to have Eddie back on Hayworth Field again.  

Did Powell lose over 20 seniors? I guess a lot of them didn't start.

Well looks like Greeneville is playing Powell On Rivalry Thursday 1st game of 2019.

They are a athletic looking team. Coaching is what gets them. Betsy should win and pull away 2nd half.
