There is a whole lot of rumors flying around that Coach Kring at Friendship is out after 1 year.  Hate to hear that if it’s true.  I know he was put in a tough spot over there with a middle school coach gunning for his job, but what went wrong? And where does he land if there is any truth to this?

All these posts about coaches moving and no mention of Friendship. Looks like they found their new coach. One of our very own Travis Kring. He just moved to Florida but it looks like he will be heading back. 

Who will be the next coach at Mt. Juliet?

It would be very nice to be able to get Coach Sonn back home here at DCA. But I do not think that will ever happen.

What happened to the coach? He hasn’t been there very long. I think Coach Sonn would be a great move here. But would he want to leave Goodpasture?

Looks like Green Hill is stalling as long as they can because of the possibility MJ gets to play in the tournament in May. Probably did not want to put Coach Allen in the position of having to answer questions about a new school and team when he is still coaching at another school.  With that being said you wonder who is doing the scheduling for next season with no coach in place.

So who do we think are the contenders this year. I think FCS and DA will be very good. There is some good things I am hearing about MTCS if they can stay healthy. My hope is that my wildcats will bounce back from a horrific season and from what Ive seen and heard it looks like they will.  MJCA will be interesting to see how they recover from their key losses.

What are the thoughts on this year? Seems like it should be Davidson Academy who has the best shot at the gold ball.  Friendship should still be in the mix as well as Middle TN Christian.  I know there is some buzz about our new coach here at DCA but I am not expecting them to have much of a season. 

Should be an interesting tournament!!

How well do you think they will fare in DII?
