Well aware. We’ve heard for a while about how our football program stacks up with theirs based on basketball games from 5 years ago.

Well if ever there ever was a chance to prove some greatness here it is. They look down on teams they beat, and blame refs on teams they dont. I personally dont care who wins just know if Meigs loses they will ride you for years to come about how great this Hampton team is and was.

Put down the pipe fellers, you are making stuff up. That being said, we are are very glad for the opportunity this year. Worst thing could happen ,we lose a football game. Big deal. You may win by 40 but we will fight you tooth and nail the whole way. Was really happy when Peabody took you to the woodshed, you guys are just too arrogant to deserve to win.

Hope your arrogant comment doesn't come back to bite your team.

Thank goodness for Cosby bringing the reputation of Region 1 back up. Their 1 point loss last week is the closest R1 has come in 4 years to beating Meigs.

They are gonna sit back and play it off like them getting beat is the way it should have happened. But if they beat you. You will never hear the end of it.

I considered Gordy and coalfield but I honestly don’t think it’ll be much of a game. May go to cloudland @ sunbright but not sure, Scott is away at Cumberland Gap. Just not much to go watch anywhere near me this week.

Your game and Bledsoe are either online or televised. Money spent on tickets may be spent on some X-tra wings and things. Sounds pretty good.

I agree, I’ve been to every game so far and they all have a very preseason scrimmage feel to them. I won’t make this one though. My wife has been showing me where parents of players are on Facebook asking anyone to sell them their tickets so family members can go. 100 tickets doesn’t go far on a near 60 roster. That’s just a shame IMO.

Its silly. I'll find another vendor to take my money I guess.

Fairley looks to be more competitive this year but Peabody is on an entire new level. Honestly I’d be surprised if this game is close.

    Fairley won’t touch Peabody. Forrest/Riverside won’t touch Peabody. Meigs/Trousdale won’t touch Peabody.

If your part of the coaching staff at Waverly, I highly doubt your opinion is of any value after laying the goose egg. Why dont you go help coach basketball and give some else a better record.

No no. Let’s not get to out there. You beat us and that is a given. We went back to an old offense set in the second half. Not because you stoped the offense in the first. Remember we lead at half. Defense we lost our starting LB which affected the D. I am Not taking anything away from you guys. We would not have been able to hang. But it was not that you caused us to change. It was voluntary.

This is the stuff that false hope is made of.

We will win this game easily this week. Bledsoe is not a good team. The only reason we lost last week is because one of our best players got hurt. Once he hurt his knee Coach Mathis did not run most of his good plays because we did not have one of our best players. Our boys need to hold on to the ball. Our tall receiver could not pull a pass in late in the game that might have won the game for us. My boy Sampson is the best quarterback around and is really fast and hard to tackle. Coach Mathis is going to save him and not run him a whole lot on some games. He wants him to have fresh legs for the playoffs but he is awesome. Squatchy had some big boys and were tougher than I thought they would be but we would have still won the game if our best running back did not get hurt. We also showed how good our young players are the other night. Our freshman runner put a spin move on Squatchy that everyone was talking about. We will do better this week. As always it is a great day to be a warrior!

FEAR THE SPREAD, FEAR THE TEAM, & FEAR THE BEARD!

Hmmm. That Swafford kid from Meigs is pretty good tho. No disrepect but I'd take him. Good runner good throwing the ball. ATHLETE!!!

This would be my top 4 of the teams mentioned.

    1. Tyner (BIG and FAST)

    2. Meigs (Return a ton of players and have great size along with a stud qb)

    3. T.C. (Talent is there, just gotta see if the coach can get them to play to their potential)

    4. M.C. (Young team. 2019 starts a good run for us for a few years)

Thanks. Kinda what I was thinking after reading the boards some. Like to see a few of those teams play one another. Does Marion have that kid Sailors still?

Who is looking to Cookeville? All we said is they looked good in spring. We know winning it all involves a lot of probables including weather, injuries, grades, and parents not being transferred away.

Simple question, no one stated who was looking where. And a simple question was asked. If you don't have an answer  you don't have to speculate.
