    I was asked to do this for 3A. I took the Average Pts. scored per game and the Average Pts allowed and ranked the team in each 1-48. I then added the 2 rankings together to get a ranking number. Here it is;

    1. Alcoa was #1 in Defense and #1 in Offense for a total of 2 points

    2. Upperman was 2 & 5 for 7 points

    2. Red Bank was 3/4 for 7 pts

    4. Covington 6/3 = 9

    5. Pearl Cohn 10/2 = 12

    6. York 5/8 = 13

    7.  Johnson Co. 4/12 =16

    8. McNairy 7/11 = 18

    8. East Nash. 8/10 = 18

    10. Unicoi 12/7 = 19

    11. Fairview 15/6 =21

    12. Wooddale 11/17 = 28

    13. Camden 14/15 = 29

    14. Signal Mt 9/23 = 32

    14. Raleigh Egypt 13/19 = 32

    14. Austin-East 19/13 = 32

I'll include the Margin of Victory ranking as well way to rank teams,

Thank you this is a pretty good way to rank teams,  Defense should also be a factor in the rankings.  Thans again

    Fun stats to look at is offensive and defensive scoring for the year and how every team compares. I know that it means very little because it doesn't take into account many variables that would skew the results if it was a true ranking (strength of teams played, points given up and scored on B-team or special team points, ect.). If you ranked each team based on most points scored then did the same for points allowed then added the offensive and defensive ranking together, then rank the teams based on that number here's what you would see;

    1. Meigs is ranked #1 in points allowed and 4th in scoring giving the a total of 5 points

    1. Peabody 2/3 total 5

    3. Watertown 4/2 total 6

    4. Trousdale 3/9 total 12

    5. Tyner 7/7 total 14

    5. Fairley 9/5 total 14

    7. Riverside 5/10 total 15

    8. Lewis 14/6 total 20

    9. Columbia Acad 11/11 total 22

    10. Polk 16/13 total 29

    11. Waverly 30/1 total 31

    12. Oneida 6/26 total 32

    12. Gibson Co 18/14 total 32

    14. Rockwood 10/23 total 33

    14. Eagleville 25/8 total 33

Not mean to be a real ranking just fun conversation.

    Start one for 3 A

Pulling for the devils. Hope Lewis can get loose around the corners. Jc bottled him up good but he has great speed and take it to the house any play

Thats what I am thinking, jc has a stout defense and uc played pretty even but ran out of gas.  Jc has away to make teams  struggle some. Uc has put 40 on almost everybody.  Go devils

Kingston has speed on the outside with #1 #7..and a big rb #36.. look for us to run the ball alot and try to control the clock..and throw in some quick throws in the flat.

Uc has no respect.  Last playoff home game was 91, last win 91,  I wouldn't over look them.  Speed is what u worry about because they have it
