  1. This is my two cents on this matter.  Having kids that transferred.   Everyone thinks its always about the sports part (I'm sure that is the case for a lot of people and is a big part ) however, when the school administration is toxic and does not tell the truth I would say leave.   Some schools staffing becomes filled with the good ole boys staff that they are blind to other students/athletes and only focus on one core group (which usually is their own) it's time to leave as well.  We thought long and hard about leaving a system we grew up in and loved at one point.   We talked to the kids (one actually came to us and asked if they could transfer) It has worked out for sure and wished we would have done it earlier.  Yes my kids are 2 sports athletes and have flourished at the other school.  I am just glad that they where given a second chance where they could make things happen on their OWN  not who's parents are yours or living in a certain neighborhood so we could all be buddies.

I'm sure they would but see our field was paid for by the community not the school!! So maybe yall Cornersville fans can step it up an really support your team instead of just posting that you support!!!

LOL This is way off base sounds like sour grapes are spilling on the magic carpet :roflol:  At least Cornersville's DJ's sound system was top notch (Man he is loud lol)

Cornersville didnt get the Huntingdon offense that I saw play for 12 games this year. They got the Swenson I'm scared to death and have no clue what play to call or what kids to put in the game. Some even made the statement it looked like he was throwing the game on purpose. Wonder if there is a high school team in the country that runs their QB to the sideline every play to have him run the same play over and over. Funny thing is Huntingdon was called for 3 delay of game penalties bc they couldnt get the play in on time. There were people from all over West and Middle TN watching this game tonight and all everyone walked away with is how much a clown Huntingdon has running their football program

Wow 2 years in a row the Stangs have had a off night just against C'Ville.  Ya'll usually get more home cooking then the  pioneer woman..lol

Congrats to cville. yall played a heck of a game #22 is Mr. Football in my opinion! Both sides of the ball he was the Man. Heard we had some discipline problems and that's why #7 did'nt play much. Don't know why #8 did'nt see any O.Cville the better team.

Im shocked at the #8 deal as well..... C'ville is one of those teams with a complete team and has stayed healthy as well

If we’re gonna be brutally honest, Cornersville will get their respect all the way until next Friday when they lose to Huntingdon. Cornersville has 2 players. I’ve seen a lot of film. Don’t say you have like 5 or 6 because you don’t. You have Eli Woodard and Cameron Whitaker. That’s it. You’re not getting past Huntingdon. So we’re gonna ignore your profanity and stay right where we are.

Did you notice the line play?  Both sides of the ball the  line is aggressive!

    Boy that was awful close.

Saw Cornersville in person.  MP on film ...  Also seen Greenback and Whitwell in person.   I honestly think Cornersville is better then both.  Their line play on both sides of the ball is top notch!

These two teams have played every year since 2001 according to the site. And Cookeville has won 16 of those 17 meetings. And only 3 of those have been decided by 2 touchdowns or less.

Doing some ABC math here the common links are Livingston Academy and Dekalb County.

Cookeville beat Livingston Academy 28-7. Livingston Academy beat White County 35-0. Warren County beat White County 20-13.

Dekalb County beat Warren County 19-13. Dekalb County lost to Upperman 43-0. Upperman beat Cookeville 23-7.

    Cookeville 28

    Warren Co. 7

Sweet post! and just about right!!

Cornersville is definitely the more talented team.   Moore County is built to keep this one close if they don't deviate from what they do best.  #PoundTheRock!  If Moore County averages 4 yards a carry tonight with no turnovers, this game will go down to the wire.   If not, it could potentially get very ugly!   Moore County will have to double Cornersville's T.O.P. if they win this game.   I got Cornersville by 14.

100% spot on!  however pulling for the underdogs pull off the upset!

We did keep playing, even though the score showed the game as pretty lopsided.  Had A LOT of turnovers that didn't help us at all.  At least 3 or 4 fumbles that stalled drives or switched field position.  A couple of interceptions that amounted to long punts.  I don't think we got a first down until early in the 3rd. Qtr.  Nolensville's starting QB #7 ? came out gimpy sometime in the 2nd, but their other quarterback kept them moving with his arm and legs.  Hard to say if our d-line was slow filling gaps or their running backs were making the best of it, but they were chunking out 5-7 yds a pop.  Their QB over or under threw several open receivers on long pass plays, but we reacted pretty well to the short/quick screens and dumps.  On a bright note, several YOUNG players really stepped it up.  Will be an interesting season, and Friday's game vs Forrest should be a good one.

    Thanks nice post!!
