I’m not taking anything away from them but it takes someone who works with the other coaches to get that done.  We didn’t have that before and if you’ve been around long you know what I mean.  Our leading rusher who rushed for 1000+ last yr wasn’t even a RB until Coach Verran came.  And he didn’t have 4.5 speed.  Regardless of what kind of coach Coach Verran is, he is better than what we had with Jordy.  

I agree, RebRebReb.  It’s true, some of our players would probably not still be at SG if Coach Verran wasn’t there.   Not taking anything away from the players, but it takes a smart coach to put it all together to form a really good team.  That didn’t happen at SG when Jordy was there. Yes, we have a ways to go to be great, but thanks to Coach Verran, we are definitely headed in the right direction.

And in your post, you forgot to add how Happy Valley asked Coach Verran back the following year. 

Sounds to me like someone’s jealous of Coach Verran.  I’m sure Scotty’s feelings were hurt when you get screwed over like he did by Happy Valley.  Just so ya know,  parents were begging Coach Verran to come to SGHS.  Wanted rid of Harrison.  Ya might wanna stick to things ya know something about there gowarrior before ya talk about it on a forum.

He was butt hurt after being fired for doing a terrible coaching job at his Alma mater.  In the paper he ripped the administration, blamed  everyone but himself, and said for the money it paid HV couldn't get a better coach. Just so you know Coach Jarrett is 25-11 and 3-3 in the playoffs going in to his 4th year. I believe we did get a much better coach and that's all we have ever needed.
