or....you may be wrong and Henry County faithful will show up no matter what. In years passed, the weather hasnt ever stopped from showing out for our boys! especially on a night like tomorrow. put on the rain coats, ponchos, umbrellas and boots because come tomorrow at 7 p.m. it's game time and I'll be there

    Hope ur right buddy.

  2. Ok from what I have been seeing pretty heavy rain around 7 and 8 tomorrow night with winds around 25 to 30. Someone needs to do something about this. Either move the game up earlier in the day or move it to Saturday. If they keep this game for Friday night don't expect but maybe half the stands to be full.

At the rate he's growing  Jayden Kendall may out grow the position

Cant we all agree Joe Travis would be the best possible QB next year? Move Jayden Kendall to LB next year also. Jayln Foster, Jamarcus Johnson at RB. Tavion Kendley at WR. Sounds like a pretty tough offense to me

Maybe, Maybe not. I will tell you this, if Henry County plays like they have the last few weeks, it will be. They absolutely wear you down and take over in the second half.

Now this isn't opinion this is facts! Yanker will let everyone know the accurate score! He has been on point lately! Wait I mean ALWAYS!! Its not IF HC wins its really by how many?

Yep he is. And Joe Travis is just a jr. Crazy to think all 4 of our backs will return next year. Wonder if we’ll see some position changes, because it’s hard to imagine Foster and Johnson not getting the lions share of carries next season. Plus the freshman (Townsend?) has shown promise as well.

    Nice problem to have!

I love how Townsend runs! I really believe Joe Travis will be moved to QB.

I guess “The Closer” is too bland a nickname, but it sure suits him well, cause that young man is built for the 4th quarter!!

One of the more impressive sophomores we’ve had in recent memory IMO

Yes I'm a huge fan of Jayln, but Jamarcus is just a beast! Its going to be fun to watch those two next year as a senior and junior!!

I agree! But it’s still unusual to go from straight up building your offense around your 2 most dependable senior leaders, who absolutely demolished the record book btw, to basically relegating them to spot duty when the games actually matter. I’m just hoping there’s not a lingering injury involved....

But hey, as long as we keep winning I don’t guess it matters. I love watching the “Phantom” and company wreak havoc on opposing defenses.

We need to come up with a name for Mr. Johnson! That boy took us on a drive against Haywood and Kirby!

One peculiar item of note is that HC has not been throwing the ball much at all in these playoffs. We were passing at a clip of 12-20 times a game earlier in the season, but have thrown fewer than 5 passes in each of the last two games.

We obviously haven’t missed a beat offensively with the running game finding its dominance, but it’s still an odd development considering we have a QB and a WR (possibly 2) capable of playing on Saturdays.

Certainly not complaining. Just an observation.

Honestly we havent needed much from the passing game when you are picking up over 300 yards a game on the ground. We have the passing game in our back pocket if we need it.
