You are correct. Their line this year was better. If Meigs would have used Meadows and Swafford together last year, and throw the ball, they may have gotten a Gold ball. But Peabody would have still be their obstacle.

WE got a few 4A schools on schedule but I still think we have an undefeated regular season. 9-1 or 10 -0. 8-2 would be okay. its all about November ball

Meigs line got whipped by our line for 85 percent of the game on both sides. We gained more and held them in check. I think our line was better. Not by much but better yes

Also we did not bring our A game until 2nd half. You cant do that witha team like Meigs

It was also said that Meigs was better this year and I think they were but our defense did not miss a beat from last year. I actuallly thought we were 3 tds better last year. Just saying

Now that the Tide has done their damage in 2A, we move on to 1A. But that does not gurantee us a Gold ball. There a some really good teams in 1A. Small school football is personal. We now have an opportunity do win again. But it will take continued hard work and dedication. Our fans are living a football dream as of late. One day this will all end but we are gonna enjoy it until then. How many teams can say 3peat? Or 4 titles in the last 7 years. Milan has handed over the title to Peabody. WE are now the official TITLE TOWN. Let me rephrase that. WE share that title with our west Tn. friends UC and Milan

yes they lose 14 seniors but return some very good replacements. 21 and 2 will be missed along with the rest of the seniors

Peabody could not get out of their own way early in the game. But they finally settled down.

Plus it is hard to keep that same fight when you are up 28-0. I give Meigs credit not giving up. Too little too late. Peabody played lights out. Could have won 3 straight in 3A if the Alcoa was not....................................................................well you know. Recruiting

Fitz made good adjustment too late. Both teams made mistakes. Im glad the chop block was called. I saw this guy do this on film. Good football player but dirty at times. Just saying. Stubborn, maybe. The best team won. We would win 5 out of 6 every time. Everyone said Peabody had a weak schedule. Said Meigs would hit us in the mouth. When will you guys get the message. Good players plus good coaches = Gold Balls..................

Our kids are good students also. Some not. But most are. Next ?
