None worth a quarter. Their schedule is not respectable for a 3x state contender. West played some good competition. The battle tested isn't even close. West wins 32-7.

UPDATED WEEK 8

1. PC  - Held some kids out this week but got a key player back on offense for the first time this season. 4th Shut out

 

2. East- Young and making young mistakes. Still think they have a chance to make it back to the state championship.

3.Hillsboro - Never short of talent to be great. They just have to put it all together.

4. Antioch- Finally got to see them in person. It’s a young team being lead by a freshman QB. Size wise they’re not that big but some kids play hard. Will need to hit the weight room hard this off season. They remind me of Mcgavock team from last year just smaller

PC - won't be challenged no more until 4th round, region play is terrible. 

EN-Why do yall keep saying East is young, because they are not. Don't make excuses for them. DL- Sr JR

LB SRs JR 1 Sophomore who started last year, Secondary all seniors, OL All seniors and JRs, QB Jr, RB Sophomore , WR Jrs and Seniors. So where is the youth at? 

Hillsboro has no Offense at all.

Antioch is still Antioch with a QB that won't be there next year.. 

Has anyone from metro ever got an job in another county before , not being Blade or Aydelott ?

There will be several ppl applying for this job. No disrespect but PC coaches wouldn't be at the top of my list .
 

I think it's a good move for Stewart to take , metro is metro and it will always be that way . I would see what I could do outside of metro and centennial has great athletes . It could be a great situation .

Its funny how people continue to say Metro is dead and thats its only a few good teams etc. Metro continues to have more representives in the state title games than any other district . Metro does more with less. Of course everyone isnt good but if we are being honest neither is everyone in other districts neither. Its more kids and more schools so of course the talent is not spread out equally. Demographics play a big role in that . Antioch, Glencliff, OVerton are loaded with students who think football mean soccer. HL , WC, have 3 charter schools with in 10 miles from them. Hillwood loses its kids to private schools and too far from their zone side of town of north nashville. Open zoned crushed the abilty for all schools to compete. Times have changed its not the same but lets not act like these county schools are all HR hitters. Imagine if Metro top schools had resources and a district that cared the projectory of the the district would change. In RUCO Oakland is the only team thats just dominant, Ravenwood / Brentwood for WIlliamson, No one from Wilson, and Beech for Sumner so looks to me metro has way more competing for championships than any other county. Look at the success that some of those outside counties have been having , they are led by metro kids nobody speaks on that of course. You give me CR PC EN HB MC vs any county I bet Metro comes out at least .500

Right FB, the right coach could get them back rolling. I heard your HC was a finalist at one point last time, could be a rumor though. I believe he and his staff could of done some things. I think Stewart is a good coach and could do something with them as well but I dont see them hiring a coach outside of the norm if that makes sense. What EN has been doing and what PC has done over the years is impressive I wonder why outsiders of metro never reach out the CR, PC, EN coaches. Being successful in metro is alot harder than some of these county jobs sometimes . Call Brunetti, Woods , Stewart , Broome etc. ALL HAVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE . 

East Nashville is a pretty good team, and they are well coached. Im sure they respect Alcoa , Covington , and whoever lines up across from them. The whole revenge tour is from the media . Their coach has been preaching one game at a time if you read the newspaper articles , The supporters on here got yall riled up. 

Maybe Mt Juliet should hire a metro coach to really win.. PC coach 2 state championship appearences in 6 years , CR 6A state appearance and semi appearance in 6 years , EN State championship appearence in 3 years..... MT Juliet -0 ... you havent beat a good metro team yet. Yall schedule Glencliff and republic and maplewood though. Have your coach call all 3 and get on the next cycle . Guarenteed 0-3. Yall lost to Hillsboro last year and scored 7 points . CR beat yall last time yall played , and yall will never call PC to play. You just really want some attention. You have so much to say about metro and as many times as your HC has applied for another job nobody is jumping to steal him away.

MJGB you still harassing people and yall finished 6-5 last season.... Lol.... and yall loss to Hillsborro Last season as well.  MJ couldnt beat PC/ CR/ EN in a game that why yall scheduled Maplewood, Glencliffs, Republics, and northwests over the years

Truth of the matter is, I would like to see a few new mixture of games. Can you imagine a PC vs Riverdale or MJ, Cane Ridge vs Blackman  etc.  Hurricane sounds like an old metro coach that is now out of Metro or he has is just out of the loop. EN did have a heck of a strength of schedule, and I do know for a fact they tried to schedule PC but PC only had 2 available dates and CR was already scheduled for PC and I don't care how good the game would be PC isnt taking MBA off the schedule with the check they get from that game. Murfreesboro isn't the SEC of HS like people make it seem. Oakland is dominant , RIverdale is becoming a good team again, Blackman well lets just say they are not what they have been hyped to be, while Siegal, Smyrna , Lavergne are average teams. I think we all are just ready to watch some ball. I do think Hurricane had a few points, not many , but a few. I believe the Keyshawn Vaughn Era should of won a Gold Ball.

Usually I hear some things but I haven't heard anything. Who is the next wave of coaches? I don't think a PC or EN or CR top assistants will take it especially with all 3 programs set to have big years.

Stratford is dealing with one of the worst timings of resignations .  A week before dead period is rough. Any names of who might be interested in this job? Would a good metro assistant take this job right now? Cane Ride , PC, EN, HB have any assistants that deserve a shot?

5 schools in 5 years and  at least 3 of the 4 changes were  his choice to leave ( I don't know about Rossview). If that ain't a  red flag I don't know what is.

Well if you hire a coach that’s just gonna beat pearl you don’t get a trophy for that . Harris isn’t going to guarantee wins over pearl either . You sound like a coach that wants to come along with him. I never said who was a better coach but being from that side of town works in their favor with the community when you talk about Broome or Stewart. But as a PC guy I understand your push for Harris. Either one would be a good choice but I wouldn’t hire Harris cause he will slide back at pearl when their HC leaves . 

I really think you are on to something FB80 about new blood but I think new blood will mean new East Nashville blood . I think Harris is a good option but would leaving ruin him taking over when Tony leaves? He can’t have that much longer .  I think Broome or Stewart will be the top options being that they have strong support in East Nashville . All 3 choices will do a good job. I had the pleasure to watch both games at TSU and it was exciting to see from both offensives run up and down the field only time will tell where this will go it’s not the same metro as old 

Hillsboro was missing quite a few players  , last weeks game must have took a lot out of them . Playing without their RB . Their offensive line is huge but not very good . Beech old school offense can wear you down . #7 is special for them . The Gallatin vs Beech showdown in a couple of weeks will be a good one .

Word travels fast for sure about unloyal coaches not matter who you are or related to . It's quite upsetting how much this is occurring now of days with assistant coaches . Steve is a great coach and even better man, that's ashame .
