Tyler Harper hired as the new coach!!

Has anyone heard anything yet? I heard they have interviewed several. A few from different places and a few from within.

I hope they dont hire from within. Not taking anything from the current staff but I'm sure more qualified people want this job. We tried from within since Ronnie Brown was coach with the exception of Brackett's run. It's time to go outside bobcat NATION. This school and community deserve to be winning more. 

Any word from the land of OZ about the coaching search?

Who knows why?

What is happening with the cats? They've had coaches quit, kids quit that were starting last season, kids transfering. Just today the coaches nephew transferred to Midway.

They are playing well right now. I know they put a ton of pressure on midway's QB .

I've not heard anything this week.  I do know we had a kid go back in the summer I believe. I heard he was about to be kicked off the team just wasnt a team player and a bit of a trouble maker!!

I thought this was a high school thread?  I think if we can handle yall up front we'll win a close one!!

You really are delusional aren't you? I've never said we were the best in the region you did! Also playing up means you play teams in 2a 3a 4a 5a and 6a not how many kids are in the school.

Same as if yall had played them losses for yall also. I looked at yalls schedule yall have played up once and that was a bad WB team and yall end with oneida. And by the way we play where the governing body of football tells us to so you cant be playing that card. We have 350 kids and played a school with over 1000 kids so you have no argument. As far as beating yall last year if you can find the overall records we will have won more games against yall than we have lost.

Coalfield has one but it highly doubtful they would play anyone, this makes 2 maybe 3 of their wins covid. They cancelled earlier this season with stone memorial because they were young and didnt want to get banged up by a bigger school.

CF has done cancelled a game with stone because they didnt want to play up. They were afraid they were going to get kids banged up. They WONT try and play anybody else.

So who yall getting from Maryville,Alcoa,Heritage,and William Blount nex season?

The ole boy that runs that station is a Coalfield fan and one of the announcers is a AC fan and they begrudgingly cover us once a year.

That the last time we made it that far. Got beat by Franklin Road Academy by 6 or 8 I think. I'm looking forward to seeing this one. I dont know how much improvement we will show but I hope it's a ton, I'd just like to see is keep it close and maybe get the W.

We are looking forward to a good old fashion hard nosed football game. Cant wait inhipe we can put up a better showing than last game.

I think it was last season or the one before we were playing Claiborne county and they had a few players throwing punches and trying to take out knees late in the 4th and the refs got both head coaches together at midfield and called the game with almost 3 minutes to go.. I do know Coalfield is really bad at this if they are losing.
