Playing?? More like getting your azz kicked :roflol:

Well at least we have earned the right to play GB again!! If 4 out of the 7 teams in our region were playing In yalls region Cland, unaka,Hancock, or jellico might make the playoffs once every 5 years or so. Take your loss and go on. We may or may not get our eyes drilled out next friday but at least we are still playing!!!

No matter who the coach is at Clinton, they will need longer than 3 years to turn the program around.

Anyone that couldn't see the improvement in Clinton since McKamey took over must be an idiot.

The offense struggled YES I get that! But the defense was so much improved and kept us in alot of games. Clinton lost 8 games by 14 points or less under McKamey. I remember when we were losing games 74-0!!

Parents and fans need to keep their noses out of everything and let the coaching staff do their jobs.

I've been a fan of Clinton football for roughly 30 years. But I'm getting so sick and tired of the way things are being ran over there and all the politics involved.

Bravo  well said !!!   People today want instant gratification.  Most parents today dont understand that rebuilding a program takes time, lots of time. That place was a dumpster fire when he took over. It took him 4 or 5 seasons at GCA to get them turned around, after he got it going in the right direction they were constantly good.

If I had my guess Mr McCamey has had a very successful career as a contractor and may not need all this stress in his life coaching football being evaluated every week by couch potatoes in the stands and on Coach T.  No one coaches forever and most schools out there usually have a coach for just a very few years and things change. I'm pretty sure he came to Clinton with great intentions but things just didn't work out as planned and you know, that's usually the case in 95% of the coaching jobs out there.

I'd agree with you, but I think he still has the desire to coach. The problem is people want instant gratification and not willing to wait, rebuilding takes a while. It took him 4 or 5 years at grace to get it turned around over there.

In regard to McKamey. Karma finally caught up with him. All the behind the back that he has done through the years finally came back home to him

I hate it for the school and kids. Hopefully they can find someone to pull everything back together.

    Please elaborate?

It was never even a game. Coalfield had very little positive yardage on offense. Qb play was terrible for them no run game to speak of. Os defense plays well and the offense was productive. Penalty were few for os and coalfield had big and dumb ones unsportsmanlike and personal foul. The game was not really ever close. Proud of the bobcats

I think coalfield had 50 total yards of offense. Very solid play from the defense.

I like the way you think sir. The only losses we have are to GB and Oneida . Since our loss to GB we have out scored our opponents 145 to 19 I think is what I read. This next game is a doosey for both teams.. their is a lot on the line in this one for sure. Not having to go back to GB should be incentive enough to lay it all on the line.. I think if we can limit the 15 yard penalties and the defense pins it's ears back and get after them we will be ok.

Its a shame that all the crap that was posted on every thread we were involved with before the season has ruined the boards for us this year. Most of our posters wont post and we end up just talking to hear ourselves talk. This is a game that will have something to say about who is in the lead for our region which is usually one of the toughest across the state.Just about on the second page.SMH!

I agree with you. I think it will be THE toughest game of the year for us and one of the toughest for yall.. can't wait for it..
