I read the player left practice on Tuesday but first test was Thursday.  Then the negative on Friday. Then again...who knows?  I’m still trying to figure out if they claim he was negative and had proof  why was he not playing?  Doesn’t make sense.  If he’s negative why is he in the stands?

Hate to say it but most kids on a team that are in the playoffs and most of their parents aren't going to go get tested from just the fear of what just happened. Especially if they are a starter most likely they will just miss a couple of practice's and just show up to play unless they are running a really bad fever they won't even go to a Dr.

  2. Anytime any govt. agency gets involved in anything do you really think it will get resolved. The blame game has already started. This one will blame this one and so on. In the end somebody is blaming somebody else to save their overpaid job. The fact is DB will be going to Maryville. McMinn county will be going to basketball. The sad fact is in the end nobody will take responsibility for how seniors on one team won't play their last game and the seniors of another team won't be able to play their last game on their home field.

I'm pretty sure Crockett outplayed South Doyle out gained then 315-265. Crockett just made way too many mistakes.

Who won on the scoreboard.  All I was saying was knox teams are used to those kind of games. My son played at Tenn high. They beat Knox central early 2 yrs ago but after playing a region 1 conference schedule compared to a region 2 conference schedule it's different. When u see speed every week compared to Volunteer,Mo East, and Cherokee you don't have to play your best game to beat some teams. I think in knox you can't let up

If TN high doesn’t play by their choice, then since it’s conference games, it’s considered a loss unless I misunderstood the rules.  Only no contest if not a conference game

It wasn't by their choice against Cherokee really. Lol it is the world we are living in. I'm just glad they will be in playoffs. When Boone or Crockett has the covid from a disgruntled player from this point over how will that go. It comes down to how the administration does the system believe me. If you have a kid that doesn't get playing time your are done.

  5. The point I was trying to make do what guidelines the game being played has and what happens will be. Don't set at home and criticize other people for living out their life. For most seniors out there this will be the last time they will play organized football let them have their games they have been playing it since they were little and they have the option if they want to be there or if they don't want to be there.

  6. It is a Knox County deal. I went to a game earlier this yr. and it started raining and I was going to go to car for umbrella and was told if went outside would have to pay to get back in. I called Knox central athletic director and told him it was a ridiculous policy and he said it was a Knox County policy because they had trouble with people going to parking lot and drinking .
