  1. NHSCA was incredibly deep at every weight class in every grade.   Our NINE returning All-Americans should be proud and recognized as Tennessee’s best.  National Preps was also a great tournament but not nearly as deep.  Great job young men!  Continue to work hard, your commitment is evident.  People from around the US are noticing

  2. Baylor vs. Father Ryan was the essence of the State Dual format.  Extremely well coached with line-up strategy to boot.  A few great matches that really could have turned the match either way.

Tisdale with huge major for Baylor over  Habacker got things exciting

Pace with 6-4 victory over Miller - Pace won by fall over Miller 2 weeks ago

Duffy (182) over Petersen (170) at 182 in OT was highly entertaining and probably the best match of the DII Friday session.  You could argue this was the toss up match that a trip to State Finals was riding on.

Kleodis (195) with pin over Snodgrass (220) at 220 kept FR in it and had Baylor worried because Wilson had pinned Smith 2 weeks ago.

Wilson with decision over Smith at HWT sealed it for Baylor.

Well wrestled by both teams.  I’m a bigger fan of Tennessee wrestling after watching this match-up.

Good luck to both teams today.

    Thanks Mrs. Lundy.

I don't see Fields anywhere on the list.  I am not sure why he is your measuring stick.  I don't think a preseason win over a one time medalist/champ is enough to propel someone without a state medal into the P4P rankings.  Also, I'm not sure I consider 8-4 a "really close match."  But since you mentioned it, please do tell the "big out of state tournaments" Lundy has won.  Was it the Knockout Christmas Classic?  No, that's not it, he was 2-2 there.  Was it McCallie?  No he was 3rd there.  Sorry but its hard for me to see what you see without some gold medals on the wall.

    This made me laugh

  4. Brentwood bumped their 170 to 182 to avoid the Father Ryan wrestler at 170.  That should have been match of the night.  When Brentwood made it past the first period, which wasn’t very often, they looked gassed.  I suggest this great coach they have work on conditioning.
