Nolensville has over 1200 students now so they will definitely move to 5A. Not sure how they stayed in 4A to begin with. Spring Hill will more than likely move up to 5A with over 1200 kids. Summit will move to 6A with close to 1600 kids. Gallatin has close to 1600 kids so they may move to 5A. Page surprisingly may drop to 4A with 1100 kids. Fairview may be moving to 4A as well. Just a few around this area.
Gallatin is already 5a arent they ?

If Rankin stays around he would want to stay in 3A but I do believe the new coach who most people would think it is would go to 4A. They would still win in 4A and be nice to play some teams and make a few extra dollars doing it.
Wouldnt those few extra dollars go to travel expenses I thought that's why they were staying in 3a due to lack of 4a teams in the area

Best of luck to Meigs. Stay healthy....

I dunno if Meigs can score that many on HV their defense is very strong probably their only strong suit

You said the defense caught up with the offense last year and still lost lmao.
I don't think you can talk about another teams post season success when East Nashville has a postseason record of 3-7 Compared to Pearl Cohn at 40-19 with 2 gold balls and 3 Silver balls... Or making it farther or putting you out in the playoffs

NG is currently at 370 and from recent projections the number is dropping to about 320-330 when the next cycle hits. Almost guaranteed to drop to 1a. Feeder schools are getting smaller and smaller
Considering all of our county schools are closing and consolidating I look for them to be able to compete with athletes not so spread out

I don't see TSSAA going back from 6 classifications. That being said you have to take into account the cutoff numbers changing with a reclassification.
Here are current classification cutoff numbers:
6a:
1509 or greater
5a:
1103 - 1508
4a:
822 - 1102
3a:
557 - 821
2a:
376 - 556
1a:
0 - 375
Fulton, Seymour, Carter, and Gibbs all 4a playing up to 5a.
Elizabethton is 3a playing up to 4a
That's all I know for the east part of the state playing up in classifications.
I have no clue what the 4 knox schools will do but I expect Etown to stay playing up in 4a.
Howard plays up from 2a to 4a and North Greene plays 3a supposed to be 2a almost 1a

I am so tired of you west teams that couldn't beat Cornersville the last 2 years commenting on crap. All you can do is run and think just because you can score 60 on a less than crap team you are good. If we get to play you we will score 40 points or more on you. And if we dont South Pitt will crush you.
Doesnt matter what we do in the East... West and middle think they run things Greene Devils have mercy ruled middle and west in all 4 state championships... Alcoa and Maryville are mainstays... South Pitt/Greenback/Fulton/Catholic etc but yet the still think they run the state

They came to Greeneville a few years back they had a decent 7-1 team and you would have thought they were an 0-8 middle school team by the amount of fans

Trust me, if we every get able I'll gladly own mercy ruling GB again. Been a LONG time lol.
Wont be able to happen if Tennessee goes along with some northern states that if you win by larger than a 42 point margin your coach is suspected for 1 game

Meigs defense doesnt have to be strong they only average 16ppg and that average was helped out by hanging 40 on a bad Cosby team and 41 on a bottom dwelling Unaka team.
