Reading through some of the post and I'll say this when comparing teams. Throw out scrimmages because every team uses them differently.Even when comparing common opponents during the season can be misleading. I've been around a while and know that when any team in NET plays Dobyns Bennett, it doesn't matter who you are, that is a game you circle as huge. I know the Devils are loaded but nobody has beaten these Indians and you never overlook  a Kingsport Dobyns Bennett team.I guarantee you this Devil staff will have the team fired up and ready to go .

And Joey will have the Tribe ready as well! According to abunch of you on here DB doesn't have a chance. That's what they said last yr when they went to Maryville.G-Ville is a good team and there's no doubt. But the Tribe aren't riding all the way over there to try and get a moral victory.G-Ville has to lace up them shoes and put the pads on just like DB.I think DB has the talent to give G-Ville all they want.ROLL TRIBE ROLL!!

We can probably all agree that the big city schools generally win over the smaller county schools.   And they should, they have more money, resources, students, facilities, etc.    They can afford to hire the top coaches (although that doesn't always happen due to the GOB system in a lot of places).      Not sure of exact numbers, but WR is probably close to the size of DB in terms of # students.   More students means a higher percentage of good athletes from which to choose.   Over time there may be way more parity between WR, DB and SH.     But for this week's game, I'm still going with DB.   WR has to prove they can play a complete game and put it all together.     Pulling for the Wolves but just don't see them winning this one.

What does more money, better facilities do for a kid living in low income playing FB?And then explain to me the Maryville running over teams twice the enrollment they have and also Alcoa, Greenville?

This one probably won't be remotely close. Science Hill usually has a lot of offensive firepower and we haven't shown any ability to stop a decent offense yet. We also can't seem to get out of our own way on offense. This is a game to experiment and work on some things before we return home for a stretch of winnable games. We have to find a way to finish drives and stop turning the dam ball over. I've been saying the last part since I first logged onto Facebook back in 2012. It's been almost a decade. Some things never change.

You WB fans should talk you're coach into letting the Varsity move down to JV like you did regions!

Everyone thought DB would be significantly down this year because of having graduated 20-something starters, but at this point they are way better than anybody thought they would be.    Now granted they have played a fairly cupcake schedule thus far but still.....         I would venture to say WR has way more incentive to win this than DB does and you can't dismiss that.               I know it's not technically South 2.0 but.... does anyone remember the very first DB/South game?       It was South's first year and I remember my father saying "DB blows them out of the water".     If I'm not mistaken DB won something like 21-14 and both teams had a long TD called back due to a penalty, but it went down to the wire.      Somebody correct this if it's wrong, that was 41 years ago....

The last part of you're post only proves you're dad is horrible at picking scores!I corrected you!

I heard Forrest that DB wasn't going to bring the team out till the 2nd quarter.Cause DB just doesn't have any incentive to win.And I also heard DB was going to fill WR water coolers with Dr Pepper!!!

Hey Forrest,DB has played cupcakes.I wouldn't put Tenn High as a cupcake, Volunteer is and always will be Volunteer,Mo East has had some good teams the last few yrs.And a conference game we can't change. But cause their having a down yr this yr their Cupcakes,And the same goes for DC the last few yrs,But their 2-2 and their Cupcakes. The only Cupcake is you!Go to your own teams thread and post and stop jumping on bandwagons. You probably have a UT and VT hat.LOL,Just go to your own thread.RUN FORREST RUN!

  7. So why is it most of the post on here about WR refer to South?Thats some real disrespect to the kids that came from North and Central. And I find it funny that when I moved here and before KPT took over lil south.I may be wrong but in the last 15 yrs I haven't seen south beat DB on the field. So why is it just cause they ride farther up the road now to school. That makes them better and now theyre going to have a better chance at beating DB.Just cause they hung with SH.Ive also learned since Ive been here. You never know what kind of SH team you going to get from one Friday to the Next. The kids DB has playing have been in the program except for a few.Alot of them was in practice with all those seniors last yr.I never really understood why people were so down on DB this yr. Especially with the history DB has in football with like 2 or 3 lossing seasons in the last 25-30 yrs.And alot of people underestimating Joeys coaching. Is DB at Maryville and Oakland level right now.Who knows that's why they play the games. But he's working towards that and doing a pretty good job.Joey will have them boys ready Friday night. Its seems some folks are chopping at the bit for DB to lose so they can get on here running them in the ground. You even have this (BLAZER MO-RON) that gets on DB's threads praising them then for the second time in as many weeks he's posting on our thread saying how hes hoping we lose.Go to your own teams thread Forrest!

Don’t know why you feel the need to randomly jump into 2 different William Blount threads and dog them

Well let me tell ya.Ole Willy Blount want to come to region 1 cause they thought it would be easier to win games! And I've already had this conversation before. So them already losing to Jeff County I guess someone forgot to tell them Willy Blount was suppose to win.Only time in my life i've heard  that a high school football team ask to move out of a region because the one they was in was really tuff!!!!..Too me as a DB fan.I find that highly disrespectful.Just say..ROLL TRIBE ROLL

This season reminds me of the year here while back when Anderson County had took a big fall and  WB signed them up and got beat like a drum. Clinton and Karns have been the local doormats and WB signs them up and everything changed. Some thought there may be a 7 win season this year moving into a weaker group of teams whick I'm totally on board with but 2 of those possible wins are now losses. This next game will be another interesting game because you just don't know. I had a feeling the last game Bishop would run for a mile like he did on Heritage except Karns as a team has improved which I didn't see coming . I think once Cozart learns the plays WB may have their own Bishop and hopefully he can be a different in this next game coming up.

Looks like our region took another hit by bringing in the crappiest team in Blount County. Different region but same S*** Team.LOL

Wouldn't it be interesting if William Blount took care of business playing the 7 weak teams that went 17-52 last year in their new region plus the brand new school in the Kingsport area and played Maryville anyways in the playoffs. If Shad did this to avoid Maryville the old saying is you can run but you can't hide.

Or they could do what they normally do.And just join a different region and keep losing!I'll go with that.
