I think this is where the MAJOR pressure should be coming from. What happens with the region being this down and Tullahoma DOESN'T finish first??
Could be right! I think they see it as a win win if they make it to the playoffs and lose. "at least we went to the playoffs"

Tullahoma isn't only school in this area, with players that are overlooked by major colleges, every school around us with exception of Alontae Taylor at Coffee County. Schools down in this area are often overlooked. I think any "real" Tullahoma fan, could care less if they are dressed out in black or cardinal, all they want is better better performance out of there team.
Anyone else close by win a state championship lately? I am not a Tullahoma fan if that clears up things for you! Traditional uniforms are pretty cool. The black is a fad to look good! Everyone in the history of Tullahoma wore cardinal even the state championship team! Why change? Working out really well for them.

As long as John Olive is the athletic director, there will be no changes in the coaching staff. His sons are the offensive coordinators, and I think that is part of the offensive problems, they have had the last two years. When Nathan Delaughter, was the QB at Tullahoma he struggled. He transferred to Shelbyville this year, and had a great game against Siegel. I don't know much about Siegel, it will be interesting to see how he does against Marshall County this week,
Maybe but Attendance will get you. Parents, grand parents and neighbors will always show up but when u are not very good people that like to watch HS Football will go elsewhere. You can put up all the tents and march in with the band but people still know you are not very good.
Tullahoma had a lot of opportunity to put kids in good programs on the college level in 2021 but it didn't happen. No help from staff. Staff is all about small time football where they came from. They have said that the QB that went D3 was the best ever in Olive era. Was he? Several better. Robert Matthews D-1 not much help around him, Barnes TTU, Davis TTU. Much better with a lot less around them.
When your program is putting kids on the next level, noticeable next level, you will get players. They had big time playmakers and no one went anywhere. The year before they had one player. If they had utilized the WHOLE team that year they are in the championship game back to back years.
Good thing they changed uniforms to Black. The school primary color is Cardinal not black. You better be really good to step on the field trying to only look good! Looking good will not win squat. Good for taking pictures after games with mommas and smiling after a loss. Black makes you look slimmer. Beauty contest!

No doubt the region is weak. If Tullahoma doesn't get better on offense, they will be battling Spring Hill for last place. Shelbyville has the best offense, but no defense, Columbia played well against Marshall County. You're right first round eliminations are probable.
I guess the good thing is in todays football you do not have to win to keep your job in Tullahoma. When u are in a really weak region u just have to look competitive to keep ur job. When the attendance drops in Tullahoma is when u get fired.

Tullahoma will win regardless of poor coaching.
They are in the weakest Region in the state of Tennessee for 5A Football. They may win the region and lose in the first round of the playoffs to a 4 seed. The region is just that weak!

Home cooking got the win for you tonight. Come Monday season ends
I bet you wouldn't stand there and let me run through you like that. With the left hand making contact first and then the right forearm.

Tullahoma is playing its best football of the season and I think Montgomery Central is as well. With each playing its best the edge goes to the Wildcats.
All this other is just a sideshow. I've been doing this 35 years, and this is the most focused Tullahoma team I've ever seen.
When these two teams met on Oct. 8, Tullahoma fumbled the opening kickoff, giving the Indians the ball at the 12 and they marched in for a TD. After that, Montgomery Central punted seven times and turned it over three times.
With 9:14 left in the first quarter Tullahoma trailed for the only time this season. The Wildcats responded with a 70-yard march for a TD with 6:40 left in the first. That is 2 minutes and 34 seconds that Tullahoma has trailed ALL SEASON.
The defense is stifling, the special teams are outstanding, and the offense is balanced and highly explosive.
It is difficult to beat a quality opponent twice in a season, and the Indians have proven their quality the past couple of weeks. However, Tullahoma held MC to 100 yards total offense and I just don't see the visitors finding a path to victory at Wilkins Stadium.
Very Similar to last year. Big wins all year long until the damp night with a team that made adjustments in 3rd round not second. I'm not sure last years team trailed either. 3-Missed kicks and missed handled snap on a punt lead to an embarrassing loss. Also going under center was a bad idea with the offensive game plan. Playoffs can cause some players to only be players when you are up 21-0 kicking to go to 24 and eventually hanging on for a 24-21 win. When it comes to winning the game with the same calmness down by 1 can freak some out. Never playing with it all on the line can be dangerous in sports. It is the same team with only 3 or 4 that graduated? I do see Tullahoma waxing MC but I also thought they would handle Nolensville last year.

Tullahoma has had 2 bad teams in the past 10-15 years. We are very use to doing well. This guy doesn’t speak for all of us. We know what you guys are capable of. Hopefully both teams are healthy and see each other again!!!

Next loss for Tullahoma will be to PC in 3rd round of playoffs. Just like last year to Nolensville. The next 3 regular season games have no meaning what so ever! Lawrence County is the best of the 3 remaining teams on the Tulllahoma schedule.

He actually did. He played DB and special teams/KR. He had a huge pass breakup in the 4th Q on 3rd down. We already had two backs “sophomore/Senior who are averaging 100 yards a game. His time will come especially with all the crazy injuries we’ve had this year.
Thank you! I saw him in on a few plays but I also saw him on the sidelines a lot too. I figured he might not know all the plays or something. Deeper in the season I am sure he will help out a lot.

That’s the plan and hopefully we will have all our kids back. We fought and that’s all that matter. These young boys got heart. Good luck the rest of the way
Why didn't the transfer from Riverdale get much action Friday night?

Lincoln County has fired their coach, halfway through his (bad so far) second season. My guess is they're trying to give themselves time to gear up to go after a big hire to try to salvage the program after a run of about 15 mediocre to bad seasons.
Seems like ever since the new super rolled into town the Football program has gone down hill.

Wow! Must be a surprise attack going on. No smack going on for a Coffee Pot Game? Very strange.

Then wildcat boys been working all summer too.
Scored on 4 big plays. No Drives. 3 big runs up the middle from 40 out and a busted coverage for a TD. I am sure they have all worked hard. Some work smarter then others.

You have all summer to prepare for Tullahoma and that is all you can come up with?
A few go routes, a few hitch routes, zone read, power sweep out of the gun and QB counter.
Wow!!!
And on defense you take the safety out of center field and play 7 in the box. 3 up the middle plays by Tullahoma and its 6 each time.
Wow!!!!

Coffee Co. vs Tullahoma. Great game always for the Coffee Pot. It bleeds over into parking lots even fights the night after. This year let the players play and leave it on the gridiron. The game is at Manchester this year should be 8-10,000 at the game just like 2 years ago. People were still coming in 1 hour after it started.
Overall record 62 wins for Tullahoma and 29 wins for Coffee County? Is that correct?

I'm glad you were right.
Tullahoma is bad for having a returning QB from a 3rd round playoff team and 4 receivers that played a lot last year.

I do think Tullahoma will do well in the Region but It will not be because they are a good team or well coached. It will be because they are in a very weak region. You can run simple plays over and over with good talent and win. You have to actually be a good coach to win with less talent. Look at LC. They won with simple when they had the players. They need good coaching to bring them back to the promise land with the split to city.
