MCMINN CENTRAL is  in englewood  quit that etowah mess . That would be like calling walker valley Charleston it just doesn't make sense

No I’m okay, thanks for the suggestion though

  2. I want to see Meigs beat Sweetwater and etowah before I declare them one Of the favorites.. don’t believe Meigs has beaten either since moving back to the district a few years ago.
Caleb Milen (polk) or Colby Raymer (Kingston) is the best player in the region. I believe Raymer had 54 pts against etowah a few weeks back.

I agree they play hard and should get better with more experience, players and coaches, but the great size comment is a little confusing. The two starting sophomore posts have good size both around 5.9 maybe 5.10 which has been about the average size post players we have played against this year. One is fast and athletic the other is strong, but we have 5 guards that play that are 5.4 to 5.5 so I would say we are under sized and I think that has been one of the biggest problems against teams that have good rebounding guards we struggle to keep them off the boards and in the games we have lost we got killed on the boards, but those things can be fixed by playing fundamental basketball and boxing out.

I was really just talking about the post players

Both 1A and 2A state champs will be from the West. Every freaking year Meigs County Is favored and they get their butts whipped. Huntingdon or Westview will beat Meigs handily. Okay 2A : if Huntingdon doesn’t turn the ball over they will beat any 2A team.  Yes they will beat Westview barring turnovers.  State champs 2021 Peabody and Huntingdon.  My disclaimer is if Huntingdon has turnovers Westview will win.  Bottom line the 1A and 2A belong in the west .  East can dream again

I can say with almost 100% certainty that Peabody was favored against Meigs last year.

I agree with everything.  Our guys gave it all they had. Tyner is a good football team.

It's hard to execute when they know what your trying to do and going to do. We either got to throw it more or throw in a reverse or screen pass or end around or anything besides same old stuff we been doing over and over.

We have the athletes and size to run over most teams but against the better teams and better coached teams we stall out. You can all most forget about it if we get a false start or holding call. That drive is dead against a good D with that offense we put out there last night.

Our defense and special teams won us that game last night.

We better work some things out before Marion or it will be looking like a long haul in the playoffs through some tough road games in rounds 2, 3 and 4.

I'm sure Marion is going to be just as prepared for us as Tyner was and if we come out running the 3 straight running plays to the same side it's going to be the same outcome. Then try to throw it a couple times a game in obvious passing downs it will end up a different outcome on the road.

Does it get tiring posting the same thing over and over again? Just curious. TIA

It’s not been that many years ago. Meigs hasn’t been world beaters until 4 years ago. Pipeline started.

Bledsoe fans are going to be thinking “what if?” for the rest of their lives. Honestly, that’s a sad way to live.

Counting on utilizing the passing game in the hard games has hurt us in the past. I think its something we need to focus on and work on to be more well rounded.

I like Carroll and Huckaby alot but I've seen it the last several years with Carroll,Meadows and Huckaby. And with Swafford, Maldonado, Bealer, Hyde, etc.

It's easy to run for 300 yards a game and score 40 plus points a game on most of these teams but when we run into TC and Peabody that's not happening.

When we get to Marion this year and the playoffs and TC or Bledsoe, or Tyner or Marion again I don't see us running for 300 yards and putting up 40 points. I hope I'm wrong.

I just feel to be more efficient in the passing game we should work on it in game situations to build confidence and become more balanced.

If I remember correctly, you’ve always been one to complain about the offense. And yet, we’ve beat TC the last two years without slinging it around the yard. I promise you it’s okay to win by 40 if we’re only throwing it 10 times a game.

As our qb stated we were rusty, but the kids have been wanting to play bad and it showed. Our offense clicked pretty good and our defense is outstanding this year. Good to be a Tiger. Appreciate the nod sir.

Hey yeti, has your co-workers from Sweetwater said anything about how we compare with Bledsoe?

It's a region game so it will count for seeding somehow.

I just saw where Sweetwater will not reschedule their game with loudon. Therefore Sweetwater was given a loss. I assume that’s what would happen here if we’re not able to reschedule.
