I think Basin and SP will be playing again in the 3rd round. Basin and Monterey should be a good game but I,m giving the edge to Basin. 

I think all teams play better when they get a crowd behind them. Nothing better than a loud environment from both sides. Every team has those fans though that say some of the dumbest stuff and at the quietest times of the game so everyone can hear. 

I will never doubt Central out just because its Davis. Hes coached against Basin for awhile now. As far as Tellico not having their QB, he played up until late in the third quarter against Basin. Overall I think it will be a good game but i dont see either team being blown out but i'm still going with Basin for the win.

Basin would have beat LV a lot worse if it haven’t been for playing 3rd string. 

I think Basin is gonna whip some ####!!!

These boys are the difference between playing for a good team and making a good team. Good to see these small town boys putting up these big town numbers.

I feel that it should all abide by the rules and if found guilty of breaking the rules then should be punished to the full extent. I see no harm in coaches asking kids to come play for them but they shouldn't be able to offer anything to the players or family besides the opportunity to play football.

All this bashing is crazy!!! Teams can only put 11 players on the field at one time. If coaches can go out and find good players that want to come play for them then that's great. A coach is paid to make his team be the best they can be and win legally.  Any coach or fan that says they only want hometown boys and wouldn't take a great player from another school is full of ####. It all bulls down to us other teams being jealous that your team got them and you might beat us now. Every school probably has a kid playing for them that didn't grow up in that town. Its not the kids fault if hes not as good as the other kid at your school. Let them be young men and let them play ball!!!!

I'm with you on this. I know he has now fell behind Willis on yards but that's because his last game was only played for 2:33 into the first quarter. The game was already 16-0 and the other team wouldn't take the field after the lighting delay.  Mickens is the real deal and people should pay attention to him. He doesn't have the TDs that Willis does but he keeps the rb's set up with first and goal. He's a clutch player. Im not taking anything away from the Willis kid, I've never even seen him play and he obviously is putting up some great numbers.

I've not seen what Meigs has but this team SP has looks to be one of the best teams they have ever had. Anyone who can beat this SP team can say they earned it cause those boys are solid and are gonna come out and hit you right in the mouth. Good luck SP!!! Go Basin!!!

After watching film of LV, I dont see them being able to stop Basin's pass game. This game could get nasty quick!!! Anything can happen though.

Basin appears to be getting better every week, they might pull off a win against SP. It will just come down to who wants it more on that day. SP has the numbers and several talented players but there are several games left until they meet up. I will be pulling for Basin though.

Copper Basin beat Polk Monday night 3-0. They play at Meigs Thursday. Basin won the first match between them this year. Go Basin!!!!!

Copper Basin only has one loss and it was to a good McMinn County team. 

Copper Basin looks solid this year.
