We gonna try and bring home a W
I believe we can play with the Bulldogs...all our players are back and healthy and it could be a good game depending on which Wildcat team shows up...lol

Yes he did, not sure why he was running it with such a big lead, we usually do a lot of subbing at that point. But regardless, he's a dandy.
To take up for Wartburg, they only dressed 16 players as all the others were injured. The Bulldogs battled all the way thru the ballgame I was proud of their sportsmanship!

We had our subs in by the 2nd qtr. He had 256 yards in the 1st qtr.

I wrote for one of the local papers here when my son played for Monterey and at a 1st round playoff at Friendship Christian my mustache had icicles and the ink in my pen froze...lol

Awesome to hear. Be pretty cool if he ended at Maryville. My son is a Freshman OL at Maryville. Sounds like the young man might get some more offers.
We have another MHS grad up there to I believe, Kevin Borjas. I think he plays WR

Thanks, you as well. Should be a good one. Can’t figure out who takes this one. Either could. For either to win it will take a complete game in all 3 phases. If both play a complete game it’ll be an instant classic. I’ll say whoever breaks 21 takes it.
Thumbs up!

Uhhh, no heat in press box. Maybe not as breezy but it'll be cold Lol

I'm sure you will be treated well. Just don't want your fans freezing.
Thanks for sure! We've had a fair share of cold weather for playoff games in the past...

I saw on Twitter where Maryville College offered one Monterey lineman today. Be cool if he became a Scot.
#53 has been chosen as starting center for the South Team at the Blue/Grey All American Bowl on Jan 31st. He is a very humble young man and recognizes his ENTIRE team instead of tooting his own horn...We're pretty fortunate to have him in the purple & white!

Safe travels to all the Monterey faithful, gonna be a little chilly so dress warmly.
Yep the weather man says in low 30s or upper 20s...I think the AD said we could be in the press box...

I think we’ll be ok round one but unless York pulls off an upset I’d say we’ll have our hands full with SG in round 2. Good luck to y’all as well. Hampton is a tough bunch and I haven’t saw them this season but I know them well. If y’all play you can definitely go up there and get a win but it’s a tough environment but y’all can matchup well with them. I spoke to several of your fans and they seemed a little taken aback by the atmosphere at our place. Hampton is very similar to Oneida as far as environment. Both communities are passionate about their teams and are not afraid to show it. Make no mistake you can win but it’ll take a tremendous effort and a complete game to do so IMO.
Good luck to you guys Crow! I'm pulling for you guys with WILDCAT4LIFE as well!

Thanks, I know y’all were disappointed but your boys did play a good ballgame. I’ve rewatched it twice already. Just two really good teams last night. A play or two here or there could’ve changed the outcome easily. Often is that way when two even teams meet up. I’ll echo what spike said, holler if y’all need anything.
Thanks bro that means a lot coming from you! Also thanks for all the hospitality and we'll return the same when you come here!

It was great meeting you guys. I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves outside of the result of the ball game. If y’all need anything give me or Crow a holler!
Will do brother! Look forward to you guys coming here to Monterey!

Oneida can’t let this be a trap game after a HUGE win over Monterey! We gotta keep our heads on the task ahead and play Oneida football! Oneida played their best game to date tonight against a tough Monterey squad.
Let’s get it on!!
Congrats Spike & Crow on the great win last night!

The Cats have played pretty well considering all the changes they've faced so far. In my opinion (for what it's worth...haha) if we come in 3rd in this new district I would consider it a good year. Jackson Co & York are playing great this year and I think 1 & 2 in the district will be between those 2. We play the Blue Devils tomorrow night in Gainesboro and it will be a huge test for the Cats for sure...
