Ha,sometimes sorry doesn't cut it Willie.I walked all the way around an aisle at Walmart here in Kingsport so I could go in the right direction for something I needed .What I wanted was in about the middle and It was clear when I started around. I be darned if a family like Barney was talking about at the same time I had gotten around, came right in the wrong direction that I had started from. They had atleast five or more kids running up and down the aisle and not a mask one .

I turn the cart around and walk backward up the isle

Understood. I just know there is a major difference between getting the quick tests vs. the weeklong tests, especially for a mass testing situation that is time sensitive. It’s mass chaos regardless and we can all agree on that.

You can also go to a urgent care office that’s all over and it cost $50 get the test back in 2 to 3 days

That’s why it might get bad. If a kid test positive for it then think about all the kids he has been around in the 7 days. It could get ugly quick.

  4. They are a lot of teachers that don’t want to go back so soon. So I look for a lot of teachers to get tested. Then whoever they was in contact with will be sent home And need to be tested. It’s going to be a mess. A lot of families will also have there kids tested if they have a fever. I wish all kids playing football would do online class.

Check your spelling. Check your grammar. Check your facts. Your continued negativity and fear mongering is useless and shameful. Enough!

What are you talking about? Maybe you should watch local news. For a state to be considered a hot zone for COVID-19. He should have waited on the announcement. I hope everything works out and we play but I’m curious to see what comes out of Knoxville today.

I can't wait until the first game.... I am wondering if the Covid19 virus will have any effect with overall team participation.

Taking into consideration parents not allowing there children to play this year. I am sure it will happen, maybe few and far between. But this could potentially impact some team standing in the state (Depending on player etc.)  Among so many other variables in this crises. I can just imagine the weekly AP top 10 juggling and the accuracy.

AC might have a chance this year

The Ivy league is not. The Pac 12 and Big 10 is conference only right now. Listen to the sec commissioner and he is not so certain. It is all talk right now but in a month I guess we will see. Like I said before just because you start does not mean you will finish.

Exactly the only way we will be able to play is if the cases start going down not up

Yeah, this thread just got awfully quiet. I’ve been sitting back watching a lot of the posts on here from naysayers saying football would be cancelled. I remember back when this thread started I said Football WOULD be played. Chalk that up as a W, and more importantly a win for the players especially the Seniors. They deserve to have their season. With that being said, Go Bobcats!

Season has not started yet. But the 3weeks Of contact will be a good test to see if it will spread. Nothing has changed except they can have full contact practice. I truly hope cases will stay low so we can play.

I just said move to spring in hopes of playing this school year for the seniors. But if you see all the rules and how high school kids are getting the virus. How can you have fans and parents wear a mask social distance no concessions  Limited number of fans. Then say let a group of 100+boys play on Friday nights. Just guessing that it’s 10,0000 + in the whole state playing and spreading it. But you make them stay away from each other during school. But when school is over play on.  It’s crazy to me that if they are social distancing during school they should do it at school functions not let kids from all over different counties play each other. To me that is how you spread it. They are lucky that they even are starting school up. Let’s not do stupid stuff to make them shut schools down because of outbreaks.

Coming from the same poster that has been saying over and over to move football to the spring. The ultimate example of the world’s worst troll who bathes in negativity and pessimism, and tries to use fear and panic to stoke the fire of a horribly misinformed biased political ignorant agenda. Reputation completely lost. Move elsewhere.

Going to be hard for teachers to sue for having to go to work when like you said they have a choice to resign. If teachers could sue, then you would think Wal-Mart, the electric company, cable company, banks, Lowe’s, restaurants....and could go on and on of companies that could sue their employers. Most employers have a get out of jail handbook. I imagine any infected will be quarantined a while. What is happening at most schools are temperature checks before entering the building. I would bet that will stop a lot of spreading sickness. Will help flu season for sure.

With the amount of cases that we are seeing local and state. I bet they will delay students going to school. With some teachers not wanting to go back and doctors saying it’s a bad idea. Man it is a worse now than it was in March when they canceled school and spring sports.
