I was just told by one of the coaches wives that, MC vs. McKenzie is the Nfhs game of the the week. The Nfhs streaming service people should be there, and be a better quality production than usual.

We will get the full display next week!!
Do you know what Dawson's stats were for the first half?

and so is Eagleville!
Do you think MC hasn't gotten any better since that first match up?

True, Mac did leave for Marshall Co. Just like Huntland was a different team the 2nd go around, I believe Eagleville will be as well.
I think Eagleville will be fired up, and wanting to be the spoilers. Especially after thumping West Carrol.

I'm glad some of y'all are confident. I remember a similar situation that happened to Moore Co in 1998. They had beaten Huntland by 3 scores in the regular season. Murphy Fair had been on a Nashville radio show that week and had mentioned that Moore was his pick to go all the way. Huntland ended up winning that '98 2nd round contest by 8 points I believe. Moral of the story is just don't be over confident since you've already beat em once. It's hard to beat a team twice in one season. They have improved in my opinion. Moore Co just needs to focus and take care of the business at hand. I think MC wins but I believe the starters play all 4 quarters for both squads.
Coach Mac was done after that game. I was in the press box that night, and huntland was a different team than the first go around.

We beat cornersville, the school that poster is from. Stay in your (slow) lane.
You calling me a homer shows you are either an idiot, don't know the definition of a homer, or both.
Stop wasting my time.
I know the poster is from Cornersville, and the fact that you have to call people names just shows your intelligence level. You're also the one who wastes everybody's time whining about your coach constantly.

you ended with that in a token attempt to not seem like a homer.
Who on here is not a homer? You're a homer. Your team is struggling though. If they weren't, you would be punching those keys with your chest poked out.

I personally hope that Chapel Hill comes out and gives MC the fight of their life. MC's fate has been determined in the region. MC will have home field advantage all the way to Chattanooga as long as they win. Nobody has stepped up and punched them in the mouth except for Franklin county, but FC withered in the 2nd half. There are some big, athletic teams out west, and MC needs to know what it is like to fight to the end.

Mr Do-it-all.
I even heard he ran the concessions stand during halftime.
Sold tickets before the game & directed traffic afterwards.
He drives the bus to away games, too!

Yup it was bad, but it’s tuff a lot of these sets of officials aren’t use to calling games where WR’s actually block!
Our WR's do block really well.

MC has to limit the penalties; bad officials or not! It should have been 49-7 at halftime. Those penalties will really show up in a big game.

Maybe not but should still win the Region the next special group is in middle school but that’s the way it goes when your boosters can’t afford rent nor do they have the amount of government housing SP has!
Someone please call 911, there has been a murder!

Other than Fayetteville (who are way down) has Moore County played any real competition or will you play any good teams till the 3rd round? Could hurt you come playoff time need to get tested ever once in awhile to work out some problems u don't see against bad teams.
I know Franklin County isn't a very good for a 5A team, but they had good skill players. Their secondary and linebackers closed very fast, and had us shook the first half. Their Qb was legit as well. We adjusted to the speed of the game, and all was well. I wished we had some more speed like that on the rest of our schedule. Win or lose.

Moore County is good, but they are the dirtiest bunch of boys we have played in quite some time.
MC hasn't had an unsportsmanlike call all year until tonight. Cornersville set the tone coming out of the locker room with the unsportsmanship. Our kids have to keep there composure and not go to that level. Especially in a beat down to a lesser team.

Hey I’m a Raider Fan. I’m just passing on what i heard. Don’t know IF it was illness or suspension. . I REALLY Hope MC wins the State. And YES. Dawson White would start for anyone in the State. I pray he stays healthy. Because MC’s chances to get to Chattanooga depend on Him being Healthy.
Raider fan? Tullahoma would mop the floor with MC? OK. Whatever you say.

don’t forget the d1 qb lol
FC's QB isn't D1, but he is a good QB. He kept FC in this game, and had MC on there heels in the 3rd quarter. He accounted for all their offense.

My Raiders win by 3+ TDs
MC has to keep their foot on the pedal. The 2nd quarter has been the Achilles heel for the Raiders so far this year.

Defensively The front 7 & secondary hands down better a lot of those guys that played as Freshman in 2020 are now Seniors
Offensively - Skill guys i'd say overall is on par/ if not better.(Speed Everywhere) Offensive line is way better
Overall This group is /will be better in my opinion!
I think the skill players of 2020 were better. There were some really big play guys at those positions. MC still has speed. I agree with the line play. MC is light years ahead on the line than 2020. Another thing that plagued the 2020 offense was holding on the outside. I don't know how many big plays were called back for holding on recievers. This year's recievers seem to be much better blockers.
-
After watching the other night, I think the biggest thing going for MC is the added depth. Kids that played 2 ways last year are not having to this year. Barring injuries, I hope it stays that way. They did have their share of cramps, but that is to be expected early in the season.

Overrated. Trophy hunters. They won't make it out of the region

I'll be lurking around. Can't miss this one
I would love to be at this one, but I don't think I can do another 3+ hr. drive. McKenzie has great talent, and plays discipline football. Fayetteville is still bigger and more talented, but commits more penalties.

Lost Left Tackle/DT during McEwen game
That kid is tough as nails. He avoided the trainer as much as possible, and refused to be sidelined. He gave his all. I hope it was nothing serious
