I know the schools went virtual and hear say is that a couple of the players tested positive! Not trying to start anything but that is what is going around Union City.

Is there anything to some UC players testing positive for COVID? Or is this just people trying to stir up something?

I know that they were offered contracts and they would not play us. So before you say someone does not know something you need to know something yourself. I have forgotten more about football in West TN. than you have ever known evidently.

The last couple of times the new scheduling has come up both Huntington and Lake County were offered contracts to play Trenton and they refused!!

If you go back and break our film down McKenzie had 1 earned score, 1 score on our corner out of position and a pick 6. Then we had multiple TD’s called back. McKenzie did not defend the run against Trenton very well, add the miss direction in with it and this is what made me know that they would have trouble against UC.

IMO McKenzie would have never been in the ballgame with Trenton if it had not been for the Ref’s. I told people all last week that the UC -McKenzie game would be close. Those 2 teams are evenly matched. I also knew that it would be difficult for McKenzie to defend the UC offense. My opinion is if we play McKenzie again in the playoffs it should not be a close game.

Let me put in my 2 cents.  If Peabody plays flag free football and control the line of scrimmage, while giving UC a little taste of their own medicine, I don't see this being a close game.  Our ace in the hole has long been our coaching staff.  Peabody fans are blessed to have an experienced staff. Our kids are well prepared.  If we lose a game or two, it won't be because of non preparation.  Coach Jacobs and his staff are top notch.  I truly wish I had coaches like this when I played.  Coach Haney, Coach Gaddis, Woods and now coach Jacobs will go down as the best coaches we have seen in our beloved football program.  Hoping for a great game Friday.  Wsup Pride.  Your post are so entertaining.  Shout out to our new guy T-towner.
