i was told that Camden had a bunch of kids quit this week, and now has around 25 kids left on the team.  Said the kids didn't wanna play for McConnell anymore?  Any truth or insite on this?

That's comical.  I believe you have the roles reversed.  Matt McConnell had some great years at Waverly and took them to the State Semifinals on two separate occasions.  Waverly historically is not "a powerhouse" as you can see by their overall history.

Ray Hamption coached 10 years at Waverly overall.  Matt McConnell coached 5 years at Waverly overall.  He won 28 more games in 5 extra years.  Do the math.  

 

Honestly anyone could've won with waverly the years matt was there,  he should have won at least 2 state championships with them if he was a truly good coach,  if you followed waverly for the past 6 years you would know what i mean.  He won the games he was supposed to win at waverly and never really won any games that he shouldn't win.  When you win the game that you ain't supposed to win, that's what makes a good coach.  The only real notable win he got was when he when beat fairview in double overtime.   He always crumbled on the big games, every year

i don’t talk much about coaching on here for the that I’ve been in that position but I was not impressed but Camden’s head coach at all he had a player down on our side our medic was accessing  him to check for injury when their  coach just grabbed him up without doing his own assessment not a cool move at all  

That's typical Matt, seen him do it many times.   Matt is in it for Matt,  and himself alone,  he will use a kid for his gain and not blink a eye.  They are just a tool to him.   Their is a reason he isn't wanted anywhere he goes...

Wow, Matt Matt as well get used to being the whipping boy for the next few years.  He is just lucky that Waverly talent made him look good for a few years... 

Riverside by at least 3 TD's.  To much drama in that program and between the coach and players/ parents this week

i have a friend that called him out on it today,  it was him. 

He has a history of being hot headed and unable to control his mouth and temper.   Either way talking about a kid that played for him like that is unacceptable.  

I can 100% assure you that it was Matt himself posting last night.   Pretty sure he is nervous today
