#70 is out for the season with a torn ACL and MCL. He will need surgery.

#11 has recently been sick. He look winded after numerous plays last night.

    I'll admit, I'm spoiled!

I’ve said once before and I’ll say it again, #70 is a complete warrior and he’s not only earned my respect but I’m sure he’s earned the rest of the folks at frog bottoms respect. I wish him a speedy recovery!

Cornersville is not playing bulldog football like they did at first of season.  they moved ball late in the game when they called plays from first of season with #32 running back, #4 full back,# 11 wing back and #8 look good last night looks like he got hurt. Why would they change if they moved ball with those players at those positions. We didn’t run wild cat until end game and  we moved the ball. Really haven’t used the wild cat last 2 or 3 games. #4 for huntland good  athlete but anybody can run the holes his offense line open up cornersville D line got to do better, LB got to be able to read plays fill holes make a tackle, safety made so many tackles last night you thought he was LB.  also why #40 that #60 now playing offense tackle? Isn’t he one of taller players that could catch the ball? is there not defense lineman that can play Offense tackle? Kids are not being put right position to win games

#60 AKA #40 is playing tackle because #70 went down last week with a knee injury, hope that’s not too serious because it looked like he was missed on the o line last night at the very least from a leadership perspective.

  3. #70 Blake Jones is a complete warrior. He went down halfway through the 2nd quarter with what looked like a serious knee injury, got up, played another down, and walked himself into halftime. He tried his hardest to come back in but he could barely move side to side without falling down. Kid is an absolute warrior. Had a heck of a game before he went out too. Hope he’s good by next week!

Ah ok yeah I was told they love to run wildcat alot.  I seen a lot of unnecessary false starts and delay of games.  Fayetteville seemed to get tired late in the game and lightly jogged onto the field with only 10 seconds on the play clock.  They need to fix that if they want to be a contender in the playoffs.  As far as Cornersville, everyone in the stadium knows what they will be running by the way they line up, which wasn’t anything fancy, just a full house backfield with not much misdirection.

Valid criticism against cornersville, but even if you know what they’re running you still have to be more physical than them to stop it. 9/10 nobody can out-physical them

  5. That cornersville Offensive line is stout. It’s being anchored by Barrett Powers #54 and Blake Jones #70. Barrett powers is a returning starter from last years o line and Blake had a couple starts under his belt coming into this season. They handled that big 6’5 kid from MTCS fairly well. That’s not to say that the rest of the offensive line isn’t stout but those 2 are the clear leaders, I look for this to be a battle until the very end for the dawgs, but I think they’ll pull it out 21-14. Should be an interesting game to watch.
