Well considering they’ve made 2 hires in a row that resulted in termination, I’d beg to differ. And yes, Diffee did resign. But there was no way that guy was back on the sidelines next year. The M on our helmet was not for maturity.
There wasn’t an M on your helmet. It was dogs but you guys can’t spell very well.

So who is not playing? I noticed #1 was not playing against lake county.

It’s hard to argue against the ducking talk but at the end of the day win or lose dyersburg would still have a good regular season then get bounced in the second round. I’d stop worrying about Peabody and worry about Covington and Ripley and actually making a run in the playoffs.

Covington big. Coaching vs athletes

Keep saying it till I’m red in the face haywood is the team to beat in 4A in the west they are the real deal!

I think dyersburg grounds and pounds a win in this one. Probably high scoring but close in the end

What are the rumors that peabodys Facebook is referring too??

I definitely agreed. I need to considered that Milan/Peabody Freshmen game that occurred 3 years ago as one of the reasons why I’ll pick Milan to win next Thursday. And since South Gibson defeated Peabody in a Freshmen game last year, I might just roll with the Hornets tonight in their jamboree against Peabody.
He said that the Milan seniors had never beat Trenton all the way back to middle school I was stating the fact that was false

Against FW yes only JV, we didn’t loose either score was 5/2 Peabody one of our coach’s exact words we got full practice tmrw guys , we are done with fake football for this year !!
IF that 7on 7 really mattered Peabody and USJ are both in trouble. USJ lost to Greenfield twice that same day. Also Milan’s seniors beat Trenton in freshmen ball if we are going all the back to middle school.

We had a slow start but picked up momentum later. We faired well for 1A vs 4A. I believe in a fully padded game Peabody could win or give them fits trying. I did say could not would. Haywood will make lots of noise this year. If they have lineman to go along with their skill kids, they may get to Chattanooga. But I'm sure Milan will have their say.
If you gotta ask if Haywood has linemen to go with their skill players you’ve never seen them play. They are built different some of the biggest kids I’ve ever seen.

There four big ‘ens all started in the D line last year. Was a thing of beauty how they progressed thru the year and took to the coaching that was offered. Having all of them back will make our defense tough as nails up front. Can’t wait to watch what they do.
Second kid on the left played at Liberty last year

Defensive end wont stay with Clay or Tink
Baskerville runs a 4.4 he can keep up with whoever he wants too

Thinking you’re going to just out athlete Trenton blows my mind. It’s not some of those other 1A schools you’ve gotten use to beating up on. And you keep saying it depends on line and how good they are well we know Peabody has a line on both sides so what’s the question? Peabody by at least 21 probably more. The only tests I see for them come non region.

According to a Facebook post Barham is out for the year with an Achilles Injury

No Millington is there too as I have said several times. Although I count them as a Memphis school cause they are in Shelby Co while some others may not. But Bolton is not in the Memphis city limits either.
Bolton is a Shelby county school, millington isn’t

Gotcha. I concede your point and I see why the looks contradictory. However. Still doesn’t change the fact that at the end of the day Milan didn’t want to have to pay another Memphis team and travel to 2 more. Answer my question from earlier. Would you want your team to have to?? One Memphis team is much better than 4.
Bolton is the only Memphis team in that region
-

You misunderstood. Peabody went down because they were tired of paying Memphis teams. Milan went up because they didn’t want to have to play Bolton in Millington in the region. It wasn’t about paying them. This way we only have to pay one Memphis team because we couldn’t fill out our schedule. Had we have stayed in 3A we would’ve had to of paid Manassas anyway played Bolton and Millington and still had to find another game.
And there’s 6 teams in both regions how would you have to find another game?

It’s all about $$ and travel.
“Here is where you contradict yourself. You mention look at Peabody’s schedule. Not wanting to have to pay Memphis teams and having fewer non region games to fill. I said literally the same thing two days ago and you said we moved to run from Alcoa.”

How? I’ve said all along (and the coach has too) that we would rather not have to go to Memphis and play close games. This way we play 1 instead of 3. Seems like a no brained. I don’t know who your team is but would you rather go to Memphis 1 or 3 times? Nothing contradictory at all.
The comment was one of the reasons Peabody goes down and Milan goes up was so they don’t have to pay a Memphis team yet one of those teams is playing a Memphis team. That’s contradicting.
Region 7-4A 2022
in Class 3A & Class 4A

Haywood rolls this region probably even easier this year.
Then I’m gonna go with south Gibson at 2 just because I think they probably have more left from last year. And I like the Ben Johnson hire more.
Go with Milan at 3 but I think in stronger region they could miss the playoffs. If you can think of a splash player from the past two years besides spinks and Carr they are gone.
Northside at 4 just off pure athleticism.
Obion and Crockett and good luck
