Agreed this should be a good game to go watch.

Meigs will be tough at home for sure.

Meigs is more physical than Giles especially at the LOS

Meigs offense goes thru the QB and he is pretty dang good.

Meigs defense very good against the run.

Giles has more athletes on the field.

Giles is a two headed monster....#8 can throw it and #4 can run it.

Giles has the edge in the kicking game...Most drives after a Giles score will start on the 20 YL. Great kicker!

To me Giles is a lot like Tyner personnel wise only better. They are well coached and very multiple on offense. They will test the Meigs defense. Giles is the best team Meigs has played this year. Meigs will do what they do.....play defense and run the football. They will have to keep the Giles offense off the field. If Giles stops or slows down the QB run for Meigs they win. If Meigs can control #4 running or receiving, they win.

#1 isn't too bad either and couple more

Not saying your wrong but there has been numerous times this year I’ve heard Hackett or the other coaches yelling where the play was going or trying to move someone to be able to make the play. Yet the players didn’t make the play. Not sure how you can put that on the coaches when they are literally telling them where the play is going. A couple years ago they would do the same thing but the players made the play. So, is that coaching has dropped off or talent has dropped off? Not saying it’s all on the players  because it’s not but it comes down to jimmys and Joe’s sometimes. Also as far as them being flat and laying down, did you happen to notice they was 2 offensive lineman down from prior weeks? That could have had something to do with getting beat so bad up front and at times not being able to block 3 with 5.

5 should be able to block 3 that's just ball sense  no excuse... But Macon is a very well coached team for what they do , they do it well  and the kids GATA

Have you been to a game? If so, did you not see any talent?

They are who they are!  can't coach toughness and aggressiveness. they truley don't talent by the boat load in that building   ReallyReal.

This what I’m talking about… do we have the talent we had 3 or 4 years ago.? No, but we have more talent than to let a kid run for nearly 200 yards and go untouched numerous times in the first half.

Was MC better than us… absolutely! Were they running clock better than us… I don’t think so!

You can talk about Jimmy and Joes all day, but somewhere the coaches have to be held accountable when you get beat in this kind of fashion.

MC only scored 21 against Gordy and beat them by 14. We beat Gordy???

Last night wasn’t just a Jimmy and Joe issue. It was a team failure including the coaches… that means Hackett too!

i saw a lot of misreading keys and kids on the back end not being very physical in run support / offensively they didn't take what was given. and the line on bothside lost in the trenches .. how can 5 not block 3 . maybe they were mentally beat before kickoff

I think most respect Hackett and the job he does. He hasn't forgotten how to coach. I think most like Webster but anytime your team doesn't perform, the noise will get louder. Watertown has all the resources to do good. Community support is there, facilities are great, talent is in the building/on team. Down years are going to happen, but H20 better right the ship or the support will fade away as seen on this thread.

where's the talent ? just curious.

So you haven't seen the townhouses that were built on Sparta pike or the apartments by the school or all the houses being built within 5 or so miles of watertown? The town can't grow, but the surrounding area is. Why do you think watertown is now 3a instead of 2a. Growth.

4 door units are not  enough. they need about 50-100 doors  out there. doesn't have be like west or north wilson. until then there will be more looong nights in south east wilson

Spot on… but typically when you see numerous penalties, missed tackles, etc… that’s on the coaches.

Listen… I think Hackett has done a really good job at H2O and I know the talent is down.

I just don’t think it’s right to pin all the issues you’ve seen this year on the kids.

Hackett doesn't play.. his job is to put kids in position to make plays.  and it's their job to make plays . A few simply didn't do that from I saw last night.

Watertown is unfortunately growing. More and more farmland being sold. However, most Watertown people do not want it to grow. Most want to keep it a small town. It's what makes Watertown different from the rest of Wilson county.

See no growth out there at all . unlike the rest of wilson. i actually have been saying this since the Seath Price and Luke Turner days

Then is it safe to say that when the D was playing lights out a few years ago… it was more about Jimmy and Joes than Hackett?

I’m not trying to stir the pot here, but you can’t have it both ways.

When H2O was playing it’s best defense all that everyone kept saying is that Hackett was a defensive genius and not much said about the kids playing D.

Now that our defense is horrible… it’s because the kids are not good enough and none of it rides on Hackett?

Easier to gamplan and scheme when you have the right type of dudes
