So what happened is exactly what I said would happen. If SS gives up 54 they go home. They only gave up 48 but the Lady Bees showed them what actual defense was. You don’t beat this team if they get 50. That’s my take. Have a fun trip home sir!

Didn’t say your team was powder puff. Probably used it in a bad context there so if that’s the only post you read, easy to misunderstand what I said, but go back and look, I said your schedule was powder puff not your team. Facts! Upperman defense wasn’t at its best today. They played well overall, but they have another gear defensively that they didn’t hit today.

I will say this Greenville is much better than page imo! 54 is a lot of points unless we score 55 or more! The objective is to score more points than your opponent! Nope, you are out of your mind if you think Greeneville was better than Page, but Page is better than you, and thats why I'm pulling for you, but if you think you are going to win Friday or Saturday giving up 54 points then you are living in a fantasy land. This ain't West TN, so you and the rest of Powder Puff nation better tighten up!

The facts say they rank 6th of the 8 teams left in schedule strength and only 6 teams have worse SOS in the top 25. Thats what I said. Honestly, I'm pulling for Southside. South Side’s schedule included GIbson Co, Fayette Ware (twice), Loretto, Covington (twice), South Gibson (three times), and Trinity Christian. Those all very good teams.They had a few weak opponents in Haywood, Ripley, Bolivar, North Side. Those games were great for their boys team. High school schedules are not completely determined by one coach.
Not weak. Powder Puff. Y'all got not clue what it's like to play in the UC. Its like the SEC in football and you are comparing it to the PAC-12.

He's just keeping it real. FWIW, I'm personally pulling for Southside but don't have a lot of confidence in them due to their perennial powder puff schedule. Only 8 teams in the top 25 in 3A have a lower SOS rating than Southside. It ranks 6th out of the 8 teams remaining. It pays to be battle tested this time of year.

They haven't played anybody until the last 2 games and they lost both. Been saying it all year. Look at their schedule. Westview and Covington first real teams they have played. Maxprep had them with a negative strength of schedule rating all year long. In the words of Dennis Green, "they are who we thought they were."

Didn't seem to stop us from playing the #1 3A team, #1 single A team (at the time), and we have double digit wins against 3 of the top ten AA teams (2 of those are in 8AA with us btw). So either there is no competition out west and MCFAN is right, or y'all are dodging good teams just like you said teams did in your area to protect their own coaches jobs. It's one of the two. Don't use COVID as an excuse. Teams have been playing ball all year.

Where was that pressure defense you been yapping about? All I seen was kids that have been taught to push, hold and hack at the ball. According to the rule book you cannot use your hands and forearms to hold the offensive player in front of you.
