I wish this wasn’t put on CoachT!
What might you be talking abt? LMBO, if there’s coaches on this app from opposing teams then that’s another problem they have in its self. I wouldn’t worry abt random people on coach t chatting abt a game if I was a coach.

I’ve had a change of heart, 42-28 waverly

Very interesting team stats leading up to this game. Everybody knows waverlys go to is 9, he’s been ballin for waverly since his freshman year, when waverly was stacked. He’s not all there is tho, hobby can ball when his number is called, and as inconsistent as they can be at times, the receivers can too. Hearing loretto loves to throw is concerning, ws cb talent has taken a slight drop compared to last 7/8 years or so, but they are very well capable. I’ve not seen much on loretto, all I remember is last time these two met waverly was very good and loretto was not. Glad to see them turn their program completely around so fast. I’m gonna go with waverly in this one, mainly bc of Randal. I can promise you half the playbook hasn’t been revealed. Gonna be a great game. Waverly 35 loretto 28.

This game will be a high scoring game. MP definitely has some athletic kids. Definitely will give Waverlys defense problems. With that being said I feel like MP doesnt do some basic things well. I feel like Waverlys offense will dominate the LOS and will score at will either in the air or on the ground. However, defensively for Waverly these young players gotta step up, set the edge, get off blocks and tackle better. If they don’t, MP will score a lot also. This will be Waverlys biggest challenge thus far and a game I picked would be a battle when the schedule/region came out.
However..
I think Waverlys line dominates and their offense will be too much for MP. I think Waverlys defense does just enough to get it done.
Waverly 54
MP 35
Would love to see waverly defense improve, and see wrs and qb in a groove, 48-32 waverly

After watching some film I worry about MP speed getting to the outside. I don’t think they will be able to shutdown our running game. They are very well balanced on both sides of the ball. With that being said my score prediction is
Waverly 83
Mount Pleasant 77
My exact thought process, waverly has got to find answers at corner,

Well fellas after 2 years away I have returned, nothing specific, just forgot abt the T!! Being said, gonna be a lot of points on the board this week, if mount pleasant has a running back to reach the edge with speed, which I assume they do, and halfway decent wrs, they’ll put up 50, hopefully our tigers put up 51!!

EN didn’t cheat. You’re just mad cause they ended your season 2 yrs straight. If anybody cheated it was the refs. Wonder how much Waverly paid them to cheat all night and still lost. Anybody at the game could clearly see that
Waverly didn’t cheat, and the refs didn’t make east Nashville fumble 4 different times so I don’t think waverly did much paying of anything to the refs.

lmao you really said gang related. You should never get information ever again from whoever your source. Take your lost and enjoy watching east play Friday
I’ll take the loss. I’d much rather lose playing fair instead of having to cheat to win, especially playoff games, they’ll pay the price if they make it to the Alcoa bowl.

Is Waverly practicing this week in anticipation of playing Friday?
I’m not sure, I’d like to think, it sounds like more of an EN problem then TSSAA so I wouldn’t be sure if much could be done abt it as in east Nashville suspension instead of TSSAA

Hearing that new topic of interest of the TSSAA today is around East playing players friday night that was suspended for disciplinary actions.... mainly #6. Supposedly they had a few that had been out the weeks prior and was not clear to come back yet for the Waverly game? Anyone confirm or shed some light on this?
If it’s true then that’s pretty pathetic on east part, I guess I feel that way bc number 6 was the reason for most of the scoring and, well, considering waverly only lost by 6, makes it difficult to hear.

What is it about Smith Co fans most are nice good smart fans then there’s that small percentage that are so over the top annoying that you want them to lose just so they will go away.

1. If you pick Lewis over Riverside in a playoff quarterfinal game, you might be on DMT. Lewis historically loses these games. Riverside historically wins them. Riverside also has a history of winning playoff rematches. Ask Waverly. However, this Lewis team is exorcising all the ghosts. They are breaking generational cycles of fan abuse and addiction to losing. Lewis 22-16, because R6 teams can never win or play games in groups of 7 like a normal team. It's always 33-19 or something..that's my backup score.
2. With this, Lewis will have lost an all-time successful coach, and gone to Semis for the first time in a decade with a brand new coach and scheme. Yet Forrest shouldn't fire the horribly incompetent Coach Eli because "it's tough to find good coaches out there"
3. The level of football that is happening across the state right now, Forrest is so far removed from that. It's actually sickening. Forrest football, especially the Coach Eli tenure since he lucked out in 2019 with Johns' kids, is a slow drip of chemotherapic death dripping into the fanbase's veins.
4. If Coach Eli had Murfreesboro Oakland/Nolensville/Beech talent going into this game, I'd still pick against him.
Riverside only beat waverly once in the playoffs in that stretch of dominance in the region, just fyi

The only legit reciever waverly has is #9 and your QB is a turnover waiting to happen.
9 and 7 are two of the best in the region lol

In all honesty waverlys defensive strength which is their d line matches up very well vs Fairviews biggest weakness their o line.
I believe Fairview has the better skill players. 20 and 9 for waverly are good players. 34 11 3 and 2 for fairview would start for a lot of 6A teams across the state.
Number 9 was the same one who had 3 touchdowns last year as a sophomore and number 7 also returns, he also scored against Fairview, just fyi, number 9 is undoubtedly the best athlete in the region.
