21-0. ER is superior. The end
-
ER 14-0. Just getting whipped
-
Minimal amount of rain, drizzled more than anything. As dry as it's been the field should soak most of it up. Hopefully won't affect either team

How is SC’s run game? Only game I’ve saw then play was the first meeting against ER, so not really a good sample size to gage.
It’s pretty solid. Best RB wasn’t really carrying it at that point, he also went out early with a shoulder injury that game. Passing game has helped too. ER’s run defense is obviously stout so our OL will be tested for the first time in a while
-
Unless something drastic changes, looks like the weather will be a big factor in this one. Hurts our passing attack but figure it will also neutralize some of ER’s speed advantage. Points will come at a premium

Does it get crowded early? Planning on stopping and eating and might try it out.
The earlier the better for Rojas. They could be slammed or there might be 8 people there. I know that doesn't help much but it's hard to explain

He’s really not a ER fan that he claims to be. It was weird he started being on coach T as soon as Brooks got the job. How’s the field hold up with rain.
It's already a disaster. If it rains like they are saying we won't have a field by 9:00 PM

Stands weren’t packed for Fayetteville? I’ll be heading up to the area Friday but need to get up real early the next morning to deer hunt. So better skip it.
Stands were pretty empty pretty close to kickoff but ended up being a decent crowd.
-
Need a better crowd to show up Friday night than we had against Fayetteville. Wonder if all the Lebanon faithful who are too good for their roots show back up again.

I think SC has a hard time winning the state but will go! They did beat East Nashville once last year which proves they have the ability to beat an athletic team but I hear that team had several out and some homecoming involved in the Hole to pull that out. Kinda prove it was true when the playoffs rolled around and that same East team mercy ruled them! LOL again smart move to turn in low enrollment numbers
Glad to hear from ya Postie! I see you haven't lost your ability to stir the pot. A 1-score game in the 4th with our best player out is a weird way to get mercy-ruled.

and if my aunt had a set of balls she would be my uncle just saying.like i said earlier if it wasn’t for the fake punt er would not have scored at all. turnovers are part of the game everybody has them
Don't think it was even intended to be a fake punt. Numbers were off at the line and it threw everything off. The most costly mistake of the night, in my opinion, with #2 being ER missing on the wide-open fake punt pass
-
I think anybody honest with themselves would say ER's A+ game beats our A+ game. That being said, we've not seen them put together an A+ game against a real opponent this year.
I don't think ER has improved any more than we have since the first time we played.

They are not playing your Forrest Eagles. The team I saw tonight can beat anyone in 2A. Truly thought Marion would beat them bad Eqst might have the best Def in the state in 2A. Going to be a good game. Don’t Know much about smith besides the game I saw on tv. East played as bad as they did tonight against Marion and still had a chance to win the game with 4 min left. Going to be a heck of a game.
I think we played just as bad. 1st and Goal twice without scoring a single point, a completely botched punt attempt that gave East an EXTREMELY short field leading to their only score of the game, etc. Both teams were still a work in progress and seem to be rolling now. Should be a classic Friday!

Well, I’ll get it started. These two teams deserved a rematch, and we’re gonna get one.
-
6 quarters of scoreless ball from the defense. Another great team effort.
-
Madewell TD to make it 38-0 before half

I mean this kid is playing outstanding tonight.
Im astonished how SC is dominating City
Feel like we’ve just been slept on all year. Offense has seemingly kicked in at the right time

Another DIME from Martin to Claywell. 32-0 Owls 6:16 2Q

18-0. 4:03 1Q. Fayetteville hasn’t ran an offensive play yet, nor have we converted a PAT

Good luck to the owls, hopefully we can get a rematch in the hole.
For some reason my gut feeling is that we will!
