Macon is in a tough spot. They continue to pay a guy $10k a year supplement to lose to out of county rival’s Trousdale County and now a new and better Matt Dyer’s Smith County team. Seems like to me they could bring old man Birdwell back and get the same results in the Win-Loss Column. 
 

Word around Oakland this week is Shoulders is coming back!!! Creasy called him and told him one small concern…. “Shoulder’s can you get out of your head that the 1940’s offense will still work?”

I don’t think Shoulders knows how to call different plays without Creasy approving them first. Good news for Macon is Oakland plays on Saturday this week so maybe he will have Creasy in the box telling him what to do.

I’ll give you some credit the Brooks kid the current QB is more of a threat than the guy before him. Now the big question is will shoulders continue to run when the defense has 11 men in the box like I heard ER had. Not sure he has anything to hide, but we shall wait and see.

Good young talent emerging in Macon County. But for now no passing threat. It’s run left, run middle, run right. Eagles 21 Tigers 7. Big night by the Eagles Defense.
