Band didn't even show up for a semi final game.  Middle schoolers and a few varsity members.  I guess you get to pick and choose games.  sad when the band take preference over football games.  I am sure they will show up Saturday.  Ridiculous.  They think the game is about them.

They don't make the T to run through anymore and they didn't even play at halftime.  Great Job!

Tullahoma’s oline while big haven’t seemed to open holes the last two weeks that I would expect from their size. The d line and linebackers however make a lot plays and will be a great test for Betsy’s offense.

Betsy will have to throw to move the ball with regularity or get outside the pocket with the qb imo opinion to move the ball.

You have not watched film if that is all you got!  That is what this kids does.  He makes you pay.  He is 6'2 200lb senior.  Not a rookie sophomore like haywood county QB.  This kid makes great decisions. Has lots of arm angles to throw around people on the run.  Faster then T-LBS and line.  Once you look at the pass they pound him up inside or on a counter.  You have to account for him 85% of the offense.  That means you are playing all 11 people and they have a back blocking for him or guards.  T- O-line better pick it up.  No Rushing attack the last two weeks.

The LBS will have trouble bringing down QB.

I have watched every film on Elizabethton.  The QB is a senior stud, power QB down hill, QB sweeps,  QB counters and throw the ball at a lot of angles and avoid the rush. The corners for T might get burnt often if they continue from last week.  They got a few picks but those were thrown up and short.   He accounts for about 75/80 % of the offense.  Ball control O.  They do not turn the ball over and have long Time killing drives.  E's D-line is big and stuff the run.

T- hasn't ran the ball well the last two game.  18 maybe has 20 yards, 22 has squirted through the line a few times but no sustain ground game at all.  I do believe T-will have to go to their 3 main targets to hurt E. If T- continues to throw it up down the field that could lead to issues as well.  They need to drive the ball with short passes and keep trying to get a back loose to keep E honest on D.   E is fundamentally sound with very view mistakes.  T- can not afford to turn overs or go 3-out quickly.  Must sustain drives.  E will ball control with QB which makes it difficult to get behind on the score board.  JMO

    Should be a great game!

This guy is not as fast as Brown but He can throw and power over you

The problem with Elizabethton fans are that every time a Tullahoma fan try’s to point out a comparison or an opinion about stats or physical play the Elizabethton fan gets offended….and rattles off the above statement….what logic even justifies that absurd statement other than ego…. Greeneville is more physical than Tullahoma…. once again until you play both teams how can you make that statement..

Here is where you can hear the audio call from me and Ken Keller. Youtube.com/tualighttube.

I've broadcast Tullahoma football for 30 years and this is the strongest team we've ever had. This matchup with Haywood seems to be pretty even on paper.

Don't discount the experience Haywood earned last year by winning their semifinal game. Tullahoma is playing its first semifinal game since 1987 but has been to the quarterfinals in three of the past four years.

The Air Force base does not directly contribute to the facilities or program at Tullahoma. The city financed the building of the new stadium (it was not a remodel), and the quarterback club bought the jumbotron, etc.

Come on Haywood fans, make the drive and let's join together to give these young men a tremendous atmosphere Friday night.

And the sorry superintendent screwed up the build.  We could have had what giles county has for cheaper but we let an ego manic run the job who has no idea what was going on.  No restrooms up or anything.  Trailer on the bleachers.  He left us with exactly what he was Con Man.   Giles Stadium with a great press box, restrooms, private rooms amazing and cheaper.  Same company did both one was a design bulid for giles.  Tullahoma got a design trailer park by Lawson

Tullahoma has to share the talent pool with a 6A team at Coffee County central. We are the second largest school in 4A. We tried to play up to 5A for this 3 year classification period but we’re denied. I think we will have 5 A enrollment numbers by 2023.

Wrong!  Tullahoma chose to go down into 4A classification.  Get it right.  The rest of our sports dropped too.

As you can see above, Tullahoma's football facilities are as nice as you will find in TN. Great high school baseball stadium, too. As an outsider, we have always heard that Arnold Air Force base, which takes up a lot of both Coffee and Franklin Counties, has put a lot of money into schools and facilities there.

Not true.  All individually for each school.  No help on facilities.

Appreciate that! But tullahoma deserves to shrine good football team!!!

Absolutely!   The D played great all night.  It took the D a couple of series to settle in to the speed but then they got dialed in and shut PC down.  Ts O had nothing until the second half.  Too conservative!  Had great field position all first half and couldn't get it done.  They have got to start faster if they want to move on to the ship!

  10. Tullahoma has to stop choking on play calling in the beginning of playoff games.  Regular season it is all fun and games.  Playoffs we lock up on play calls until its late.  Haywood will put pressure on us to get after it early.  We might want to get a first down before the last series before halftime.  No completions until last series before the half.  PC would crowd the box and pull the safety and have 7 in the box and we would run the ball!

False. The seniors left practice and the grounds and went and practiced off campus on their own. The seniors did their punishment last night. As far as the senior football players, the matter is closed. They are focused on Montgomery Central Friday night. I think we all need to do the same and cheer them on instead of trying to bring unnecessary drama to a message board.

FALSE????  So the strength guy didn't take them there to run them?  Messages were not sent out?  They were told to go home but I guess you defy what was said and go do conditioning at the park?  You better get the whole story!  I promise you that you do not want the rest of the story!  You think you are the town squire for Tullahoma Football but u are not.  You must be a first or second year football dad.  Probably the guy that sees a coach in town and runs to brown nose them.

Athletes are being held accountable and it shouldn't be a question as to what's going on elsewhere in the school. Baseball was punished as well. Athletes being held accountable should be a good thing. Usually its the other way around , athletes get away with everything. @Sweetness1 @Undertaker411 if you have a personal issue with Quick man up and have a conversation about it. Use the number posted and work out your issues. Don't make up football issues trying to cause an unnecessary rift in a program that is doing well right now! WER'RE FOCUSED ON GETTING A GOLD BALL!!

Parent notes are accountability Mr. Phony!  Those are a Real thing in School.  What if Mr quick told a group it was no big deal and now he is going punish a few.  People can question anything!  Football team was suppose to go home on Monday?  They didn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that would be a great question for the administration you mentioned above! Jason Quick would love to answer that. 454-2620! From my understanding he attended baseball practice Monday afternoon to watch his senior (who also skipped) son practice, all while not allowing the football seniors to attend practice! He puts on a good front on Friday nights trotting around seeming like he enjoys football! Abuse of authority it seems.

I would say the new super from franklin special school district is pretty much an ego maniac also!  Makes for a tough road for folks in T-Town having to deal with that crap.  Why not use a DR. Note, Parent Note and move on.  Seems pretty simple.

Ehhh…  a day of rest and a little extra practice never hurt anyone

Seems like running on Monday, punishment Tuesday and finish some punishment Wednesday?  A little excessive!

Did all the seniors in the school get punished?  What did the band members do for skipping, Cheerleaders, regular students?  Why just the Athletes?

My threshold is a 0.500 year for a good team. In an extraordinary region 5-5 may be OK, but certainly considered a rebuilding year. A bad year is bottom of the barrel, 3-7 or worse.

I'm sure we all can agree most schools go through cycles of talent just with the students - add in cycles of the coaching staff and you get a stomach-turning run of bad years. That's where I lay much of the blame for the Coffee, Franklin, and Lincoln Co. programs you mentioned. Tullahoma has been fortunate in finding a solid coach for the past 29 years in Coach John Olive.

With a win percentage of 60.9% out of 322 games played under his leadership at Tullahoma (196-126), the program has had a lot more good teams than bad.

This has nothing to do with The overall record of Tullahoma.  It has a lot to do with someone spouting off on (only two bad seasons)  Which is entirely wrong.  Tullahoma has reached the 3rd round of the playoffs TWO TIMES  and lost both of those games in Coach Olives time too.  That is it!!!!!  Choked last year with a poor game plan and trying to make players out of problems instead of using the full unit to win a game.  Same thing will happen this year.

    Last 16 years.

I guess bad teams are only 0-10?  Normally you only have 2 good teams in a region.  Then when you play teams like Coffee, Franklin, Lincoln they pad your 4-5 wins on those 5-5 teams from not being 2-8
