I can’t see Witten going anywhere until his son graduates high school. All of these feeder teams are stacked with talent all the way back to his sons team. Then I think if he was to go anywhere …. He might try the college level somewhere.    Just my opinion

8 of those teams have losing record, just sayin….  And yes Elizabethton has some less than impressive teams on schedule as well.   It’s hard to point at a schedule and say hey we are better unless we have some common opponents.    And the only 2 somewhat common opponents where Manchester and Rhea county

Not sure how many members we have, I’m sure someone in here might know. I do know they finished 2nd overall in the state title this year

I’m guess your fan base will travel well…home crowds looked packed and it’s like a home game for you all 1 1/2 hours away.   Should be full house for Elizabethton as well with both crowds going for both games Elizabethton and Hampton…. The atmosphere should amazing.

He probably not as fast. It’s like Bryson flows across the field and makes really good cuts, has good vision. Not a speedster but has power also but has an off night from time to time passing. He did start his freshman year as running but switched him to QB. Very tuff, played last 2 games before Upperman with 3 stitches in throwing hand. Got hand ripped open in Carter game first quarter and got stitches at half time and racked up 200 rushing yards and 100 throwing with stitches. Kids special

Tullahoma will be a much better game that most expect.  The computer projection on a neutral field is EHS 22 THS 21. Which tells me it’s anyones game. Nothing wrong with both teams fans having confidence and support for  their teams. Heck, that’s what coachT is for. But until Betsy, or any other team, can produce multiple championships like Alcoa and Maryville has already done, the arrogance is quiet out of place. 

If you will reread that post I did not mention this years time beating them by 3 touchdowns

I agree…in the fact changes are coming. To much trouble getting games schedule and trouble filling out enough conference games.we will see soon I hope. And if Elizabethton jumps ship I’ll eat crow, sure won’t be the first time….. I prefer it buffaloed with side of blue cheese

Butt hurt much lol.    Yes I do think Betsy could beat Alcoa this year and last by 3 touchdowns and the year before.    Next year no but thereafter for next few years yes.    This program has changed and it’s thanks to programs like Alcoa and Maryville and Greeneville but Betsy’s feeder program is second to none right now. Even the 8th graders coming in next year out scored their opponents 400 to 36 so yes your going to be hearing out Betsy for a while

You’re  trying to compare the first game of the season with everyone healthy to Betsy playing a one dimensional AC team with a freshman at QB.   
 

Go watch film on Powell before you start running your mouth and this coming from someone who has seen both Powell and Betsy play in person

I have and Betsy or Tullahoma beats Powell ever time.  5a is weak.   Sorry it’s that simple

Yea he might want to go look at what we did to Rhea county vs what Powell did…. We matched What Alcoa did…. Que all the butt hurt band wagon fans 

After looking at the schedules even further I noticed we have somewhat of a common opponents playing each either…. That being Manchester and Rhea county.    I think it’s safe to say either one of these teams would win 5A state also. Powell struggled to beat Rhea County. Should be a goood game Saturday 

If both of these teams are as good as we all think they are it will typically be low scoring game, and I hope it is.
