I’m guessing Powell will travel to Sevier County if they win. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Walker Valley can make it to the semi’s.

Yea I’m not trying to take anything away from West just proud of what I saw from Powell. Against a team that beat Bearden and Maryville this year.

The interception was basically a punt and wasn’t in the red zone. They had a turnover on downs in the red zone though.

Yea I know some message boards on here were predicting Lowe would leave to another program after losing all the seniors we did last year and not having a clear replacement for Potts. I think it would be hard to find another sophomore like Deuce in the state. 

Yea I understand the unsportsmanlike penalty. If he played to the Powell crowd I don’t think it would’ve been called but the fact it was towards West sideline/stands.

Atleast I think Powell gained some confidence with their sophomore qb knowing how close they were to beating the #1 5a team

Powell’s got to be kicking themselves after losing that. Just made a couple mistakes that west capitalized on. Their kicker doesn’t shank punts or miss PATs very often.

Since when is Page in the east? They played west last year and Powell the year before for state.

I’ll take Powell to cover and moneyline. Special teams solid and offense has been rolling as of late without using their best weapon a whole lot. Just can’t afford mistakes and let up big plays.

Pretty sure they had costly fumbles in their two losses. Could’ve gone up 14-0 vs oak ridge before half but ended up  7-7 at half from a fumble. Had one or two vs Farragut while close to end zone. 

Wouldn’t have thought Powell had a chance earlier in the season. The way West looked against Halls and AC gives me a little hope.

What’s up with the equipment issues. Are the players not allowed to have towels on them?

Wow #80 takes it to the house. Halls gonna be practicing wrapping up this week for sure 

I feel like they might just be playing safe resting wheeler for later on in the season. Been a little banged up most of this season.

#80 deserves a rb number he’s been a good 3rd-4th string. #7 plays every snap on defense on the best receiver so not easy to play both ways 

Deuce been great with the read option impressive he’s only a sophomore and 6’3 220 just needs to work on the arm 

Stream hasn’t been great. Lost video just can listen to the commentary which isn’t great 

Powell defense looking really good. Just set up halls with an interception return and roughing the kicker penalty. Deuce Rodgers looked like Derrick Henry running it 80 yards to make it 7-7

That’s what I was wondering too lol. They had a transfer from AC but that’s all I know.

Farragut doing good running up the middle and throwing screens. Powell seems a bit banged up on offense. A lot of jumping early up front 

Not too familiar with Farragut but AC started off good against Powell. I think most teams, like AC, will game plan around Soles offensively. Get the ball out quick and run away from him. Was impressed by #7 cornerback for Powell. #7 combined with the pressure Powell brings can cause some turnovers but can see the secondary being exposed.
