He will not be calling plays. And I understand what your saying just pointing out that whether you or me like it, TSSAA already has him in there.
I 100% agree.

He has already been voted into the TSSAA hall of fame. He will be coaching defensive backs and running backs in Milan. Glad to have him onboard. I hear he is coaching his tail off for us already.
He should do good on the defensive side and running backs but just not as the play caller. He is not a Hall of Fame caliber coach. HOF coaches wins Championships and Lose Championships he has done neither

Say what you want.Coach Sharp is in Hall Of Fame.Yes him and Director are close.Coach Sharp is a great guy.Ive known him longer than anyone on this site. And a lot of schools would love to have him.Glad him and his wife getting close to home and his and her family.
Why is he in the Hall of Fame. He never won a state championship or ever been to one other than to watch from the stands. I known him for 35 years other than being a good person that is all I can say about him.

Getting close to home with his wife's family.Getting clise to home with his brother and sister in Lake Co.Just never know where he may end up.
I do not care where he may end up as long it is not back at Lewis Co. Where ever he does end up as assistance coach they better keep him from calling offensive plays because he does not know what a pass is. He may be a good person, but not much of a coach in my book and a lot of others feel the same way as I do on it.

An insider has some interesting information that the next head coach is currently coaching in Maury County. Details to come later
If it is the same one the AD should be fired for even considering something so stupid

If it is the one that Lewis had before, he can stay in Maury County we do not want him back period.

According to the Henry County and Springfield posters, their game was the actual State Championship game and the Mount Juliet poster who took three weeks to move beyond their loss?!?!
On another note, I believe I brought in a new fan to the Page fandom!
Another silver ball for page

This is going to be a challenge, but if anybody can pull it off it is Johnnie Majors Frost. If the country boys aren't too big eyed, they will be just fine.
Tyner will get the gold. Riverside does not pass enough to stay in the game. The one man show will not get it done.

Again, it’s all about having great leadership
They must get a new coach, if they are going to win championships, the HOF coach that columbia got is not going to bring championships to columbia central football. Period

Lewis will win by at least 2TD's if they show up.

IF...... Mt Pleasant beats Columbia Friday night is Sharp done??
Sharp has been done for years, even when at Lewis Co. Columbia should have kept John Moore.

Who is coaching Summertown since Rice left?
Jason Busby

Well you Rebels must had a let down last week against Columbia, because you should have beat them by more than 13 pts. after a big Lead. So this week against the Bobcats going to be different because Giles Co. is by far alot better team than Columbia is.

The Rebels offense this year is very explosive! They can throw or run, it has been fun to watch!
Only thing Columbia does is run run run and not very good at that, and if coach feel froggy he may try a pass but if it is picked off he is done with that so run run run, up the middle to the left and to the right if rebels can defend those 3 plays you will win big no doubt.
-
Should be an easy win for the rebels, coaching at Columbia is very lousy only winning by a very bad Dickson team in OT, if the rebels have any offense at all, good chance may be a running clock second half. GO REBELS

The fact that they hired Bobby Sharp has to mean something. There aren't many coaches still active that are as respected as he is. He's been doing this a long time and knows a lot of football. I'm sure he's slowly getting things going in the right direction. Maybe the assistants just didn't work out for any number of reasons.
I really think the Lions should have kept John Moore as their head coach.
-
Does anyone knows what happened to the 2 new Assistant Coaches that Columbia hired just 3 months ago and another one left or quit the program. One gave up a head coaching job at another school and the other was an assistant at the same school to go to Columbia and both has jump ship to other programs.

You will miss Coach Sharp and it won't be long.
I can promise you I will never miss coach Sharp, some may, but I know a lot will not even if Lewis Co. never won another game down there in Hohenwald. He is a good person but that is all i am going to say.

I watched LC scrimmage Jackson NS in Jackson yesterday for the first live action under our new coach. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with how few of mistakes were made given the fact that they have only had a few days practice with the baseball players. This Coach Rang team appears to be very organized and aggressive on both sides of the ball. I'm very optimistic going into the summer.
I think this is what Lewis Co. needed 30 years ago. I am going to start going back to Lewis Co. and watch games now with coach Rang there. Rang is a very good coach and now with a good program that is capable of winning Championships.

Hard to believe no one on the current staff was qualified for that position, guess this will lead to more qualified alumni teachers and coaches to leave home...so sad....
I'm sure they had some to qualify for the position, but could they bring home the gold or silver ball is another thing, that is something Lewis County never got a chance to play for and they had a few seasons that they should have went to the championship. The previous coach qualified but that's about it.

I feel like it is one of those jobs where it has been the same for so long that it needed a complete overhaul.
Sounds that way. Sounds like the fans has been tired and fed up with the previous coach for years down there in Lewis County

Sounds like you have a coach just like Lewis Co. had in coach sharp lives and dies by the run. It is hard to beat good defensive teams by the run only and that sounds like that is Swenson problem lives and dies by the run.
