Sweetwater Wildcats have many good applicants for this job. They will hire a good coach. It will happen. I guarantee it. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.
Have you heard any of the names?

Any news on this?

I've heard rumblings about Wartburg. Surely they leave that young man in place. He's done a great job considering the state of things when he took over. They were actually competitive in games this year.

Wartburg gave a very good Bledsoe team all they wanted for 3 quarters. Wartburg should win this one.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this game? Personally I think this one will be closer than a lot of people think. Oneida is probably the better team but if they let Wartburg hang around I think they could pull the upset.

Don’t look too much into that score. That was the worst Harriman team I’ve seen in quite some time. Also, they probably had 200+ yards in penalties. Wartburg was much better at not committing penalties tonight even though 1 holding call negated a touchdown. Any good team beats that Harriman team badly and Wartburg had to come from behind down 18-7 to win it late in the 4th.
The impressive thing to me was that they did come back. When was the last time you seen Wartburg come back from down two scores? I’ve been watching for a long time and haven’t seen it in forever it feels like. I’m not saying they are a great team but whatever has changed up there is positive. It’s like they’re slowly being pulled from a deep dark hole. The stadium looks cleaner, grass on the field is better, the players are up beat and play hard. Just a nice change of pace.

This game was a blowout last year. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this one?

Isn't the guy that was interim at Wartburg now? They won looks like 4 games.

Does anyone know if the BOC meeting today is being live streamed? If so do you know the link?

When are the new regions suppose to be announced?

West Greene is also going to R1. That would make 5 teams. So if WG and Eagleton both go R1 where would that leave oneida and wartburg? Still in R2 or do they blow up that region and leave central time zoned teams together? Oneida and Wartburg to R3 replacing Meigs and Tyner that moved up?

Well. I think there's two ways of going about it. Eagleton is going to Region 1, I think that's a forgone conclusion.
With that in mind, move Meigs to Region two, but then that leaves 3 5 team regions in the East.
The only other plausible explanation I can come up with is the just blow up that whole region. Send Oneida and Wartburg to Region 1. And then sort out the rest westward. I've been saying for years, if they can justify Jellico having to go to Cloudland for a region game, Oneida to Hampton isn't much more of a stretch. Especially now that Oneida doesn't have all their historical matchups as region games (Coalfield, Oneida, Greenback ect) holding them from going east to Region 1.
Only issue with that logic is Meigs has moved to 3A. My bad someone already said it not trying to be redundant.

Wartburg is much improved over last season it looks they finally have some structure and an identity. Rockwood is a much better team and should roll relatively easily.

Really? This was a 5 point game a year ago.

Any fans of either team on here? What does everyone think of this one?

Going to go with Wartburg as well. Didn't really believe the score when I first seen it last week. They graduated a lot of players last year as well.

Both teams coming off losses. Who gets in the win column first?

Oliver Springs scrimmages Tellico Plains, Wartburg, and Jellico.

What is next for the Tigers? Do they promote from within or do they go outside for a new Head Coach. Anyone hearing any names?
